My experience for the ASTEP 80-hour introductory course was excellent. The unique layout of the program (majority through online WebEx classes, then hands-on practice in the Sleep Lab) was so helpful for my situation. I live out of state & with there being so few accredited programs this option was amazing! The RPSGT’s I was able to shadow were very down to earth, as are the course instructor & director, which really helped with learning. I felt comfortable asking any question that came to mind & everyone communicates back in a timely manner.
Ms. Copeland definitely shows she cares about her students and their future endeavors. That has helped give me more confidence that I will be able to achieve my goals & pass future tests for the credentials we are all working towards.
If you are on the fence about taking the course through National School of Sleep Medicine, I strongly urge you to take the leap!
