My son Cadet Carter, J, just finished his experience here. He is coming home a high school graduate and has a plan for his future. Both of these things were in jeopardy, but now his future is bright and I’m so very proud of him. Thank you Mountaineer Challenge Academy for helping mold my son in to a young respectful, responsible, and career minded young man.

I was a cadet from Class 2 of 2015 and this program is amazing! Before I went, I was failing high school and had a major attitude issue. It wasn't my idea to go though. My parents are actually the ones who thought it would be good for me and filled out the papers. After going through the program, I am glad my parents filled out those papers. I am the first teenager in my house to graduate and I am now attending WVUP for a degree in Computer Information Technology. I have learned a lot of life skills that are already helping me. I learned how to manage my money. Also, people seem to respect me more now. I highly recommend this program to those thinking about going.

An excellent program my son did well in after almost dropping out of high school. He took a college level class, became CPR and OSHA certified, learned how to create a budget using real-world living estimates, participated in community projects, and ended up getting a diploma from his high school a year early. After the initial adjustment period, the routine that the program uses enabled him to really focus on what needed to be done and to get a vision of what he wanted to do after high school. MCA took the nonsense of high school out of the equation and I know he got more education from MCA in 5 months than he would have ever gotten from high school.
