Jessica Reed has been a lifeline for my son and our family during the last three years while we were/are undergoing traumatic life experiences. Her compassion and empathy and insight for our teenage son have been invaluable. She has also worked with our teenage daughter and has a way with connecting to this population that isn't easily reached. Her commitment to her craft is evident. I moved here recently from Phoenix Arizona, and was delighted to see someone capable of practicing psychiatry here in Pagosa Springs. I was very worried I was going to have to drive multiple hours to be seen, let alone to get my medications and be treated with a high quality of care and concern. There is a lot of stigma associated with mental health, and even medical professionals are not immune from conflicts of interest and personal grievances, but with Brittiany I didn't feel that way at all. I feel heard, I feel seen, and I feel like my health and safety is taken seriously, which is so valuable in the medical field, especially so in mental health. I'm so happy I don't have to travel far to be treated well, and fairly.
