This has been the worst experience I have ever had in any sort of medical office. My wife and I made appointments for a Dental cleaning and exam in June for the date of July 12th. I repeatedly confirmed with reception that you guys were in my insurance network and was repeatedly told I would not have to pay anything.

When we arrived for our appointment I repeatedly asked the receptionist if we would have to pay anything, and I was repeatedly told that my insurance was in-network and would cover all costs. We were brought to the back to have our X-rays taken. After they took the X-rays we were informed that this office did not actually have a Dentist there and that we would not be receiving a cleaning or exam. So we had X-rays taken for no reason at all, they were never given to me or my wife, nor were they reviewed by a Dentist. Now Cigna is telling me I owe $327 for X-rays that I don't have and have never even seen.

Cigna is on my side and agrees that they should be reimbursed for these X-rays. Cigna has repeatedly called the billing department and sent faxes and letters, with 0 response from Mountain Family Health Centers. We are nearly 3 months after the appointment with 0 resolution. I have spoken with the billing department on several occasions as well as the supervisor, Reina, and they have been nothing but rude and dismissive.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, no one knows what's going on and incompetence runs rampant.

Just wanted to thank Mountain Family for the wonderful job they did helping to vaccinate the community. I and many others I know are so grateful for the ease of your system, and the delivery of the injections. Thank you all for your professionalism, kindness, and caring. It is greatly appreciated!

Trying to make an appointment over the phone is almost impossible! I had to get in my car and drive there! The prerecorded message is not set up right and the Basalt office blames the Glenwood Springs office and vice versa. Listening to the Spanish over and over gets old. Rather bias don't you think? Other than this I was completely satisfied with the doctor but the nurses and staff need help with professionalism. They call and leave a message to return the phone call but you are not able to get through! Very frustrating!

Abysmal customer service. Long waits (like an hour an half). They called to cancel an appointment 10 min before the appointment for no good reason. Hours of paperwork just to get a one vaccination.

I have had excellent care from Mountain Family Health Centers in Basalt from both mental health and primary care professionals. I also greatly appreciate the sliding scale, as my health insurance does not cover mental health services. The amount MFHC asks me to pay for counseling based on my income is very reasonable - I would not be able to afford this care otherwise. Thank you for all that you do to support our community.

Called to make an appointment today and I have hardly any voice and the lady helping me was so rude it angered me. If you cannot work with the public then don't none needs to be disrespected in any manner. The patients are the reason you have jobs. Had to give one star because there isn't a zero so disgusted.

My wife showed up ten min late to her appointment because the snow was so intense and the clinic told her she must make another appointment nearly a month later! Only one person was in the waiting room and instead of maybe seeing her later that day , she was told to come back in a month ... I guess this is how medicaid patients are treated.

The staff were extremely nice and welcoming. A warm, professional environment. They also offer convenient financial hardship payment plans. Would definitely recommend and go back the next time I need care!
