I was recently admitted with double pneumonia. Later to find out I also have heart problems. My experience was actually really good, the nurses was really kind. Actually all the staff- from nurses to house keeping to the kitchenwas very sweet, I was able to have my husband with me the w hole 5 days. My cna .was just a sweetheart. My Dr was good, only problem I had with him, was the day I got discharged, he made me upset and cry, just a little to harsh in his words. It upset my husband also. Tell the patient what needs to be done, but be kinder

Went into the ER dehydrated and symptoms of UTI pain in my back and having sharp chest paid a. The ER dept front desk was nice and got me back quickly. Once I got in the back I told them what was going on that my chest was tight and hurting with sharp pains. The Nurse told me she was screening and she was sending me to Dr Swaffords office. I told her that I called them and they told me to come to the ER. They refused to treat me in the Er and wanted me to sign papers saying they weren’t liable for me after leaving their facility. If I had refused care I would sign but they turned me away and didn’t want to treat me so no I’m not signing papers!!! Then they refused to unlock the door and let me leave without signing them. I didn’t sign papers and told them they couldn’t hold me against my will. The male nurse with all the tattoos thought it was funny. Having chest pains and being refused to be treated isn’t funny at all.

I had my mom transferred here from orange Park hospital in Florida, since she's been here her wound on her bottom has enlarged bigger than its ever been and she's been getting a temperature. My mom is not as responding and alert in fact she didn't even open her eyes yesterday when me and my sister visited her. Her mouth also has blood and sores in it and they say it's because she holds her mouth open hahaha well she's been doing that for over 6 months now at other facilities and she's never had sores or blood in her mouth before. I'm soon sorry mom for putting u in here. Me and my sister are getting her out as soon as possible and are seriously thinking about getting a lawyer for neglect and for nurses that either don't know what their doing or don't care.

MC hospital did not have resources available for the emergency. Instead of referring to a hospital that did, or AT LEAST offering a transfer, they went through with admissions and preformed unnecessary labs. Refused me to be able to go back with my fiance who can not read and had him sign consent forms. We have spent MONTHS trying to contact someone to dispute the unethical charges, and left voicemail after voicemail with no call back. Forced to jump through additional hoops in filing complaints with the GA department of Law's consumer protection Division, as well as HFRD. And taking time off work to go in to the hospital in attempt to talk to someone and the administration either are in meetings, on lunch, or they clock out at 4pm. At this point, they are disregarding the dispute and rejecting responsibility of their unethical, and fraudulent practices, and we are looking at attorneys. BEFORE ACCEPTING ADMISSIONS, ASK IF THEY HAVE THE RESOURCES NEEDED FOR YOU EMERGENCY AVAILABLE!!! OR THEY WILL SCAM YOU TOO.

I laid my father to rest four days ago. Due to a unknown issue that this facility was not aware of. Numerous days his blood pressure fluctuate, while only on dialysis. But kept telling us it was normal. Once the issue turned into something more tragic, it was to late. They didn’t have room for him in there own ER. Once they found the problem he was not a candidate of surgery. And because of COVID they didn’t have anywhere to send him out to get more help. Which we were told once it gets to where they could no longer help him. They will send him out, but it never happened. They waited to late! It hurts so bad, because I knew how much he loved his family and his wife. And how much he wanted to live! We didn’t get to say goodbye. No one took time to tell us he was declining but always calmly told us, he was ok. He was gone and five hours away once we heard the news. Due to Covid you can’t see or touch your loved ones. Just a call and hopefully they told them that we did call once we did. He was so strong, we didn’t see it coming. I can’t get over that I will never see my dad again, because he was the BEST DAD anyone could ever have. He was the best grandfather to my child as well. She’s taking it hard but we will prevail! I’m so proud of him because he never gave up, it was because they couldn’t fix what was broken. Remember, at the end of the day these are our loved ones. So take time and do your research before you send them away. Anyone that desire to take care of them will, for they are the ones WE truly love.

I came in on 06-29-2021 around 8am because I had been dizzy and having chest pains with difficulty breathing since the day before. I was very confused by my condition, like a fog in my brain. I approached the er and two employees followed me in. I didn't know what to do as the nurse was sitting at the table looking down and gave no instruction. As I stood there she told the employees to go ahead of me and made me put on a mask. I became frustrated because I was having trouble breathing and tried to explain and she yelled at me telling me she was doing her job. She then started asking me Covid questions even though I told her this was not Covid related at all. She proceeded to take my temp and I asked if I died would her job be ok. I wanted help and was in the er, not the Covid Center so asking me what problems I was having is what I expected. Instead she rudely demanded that someone else deal with me and I ripped my mask off telling them that they didn't care about me and they let me walk out. I staggered across the street to the medical office but it was closed. I returned to my vehicle and somehow made it home. I tried to set an appointment but they scheduled me for two hours later so I guess chest pasin, fatigue, confusion, trouble breathing and numbness in random places is perfectly normal and I do not need immediate attention. So if you have Covid, go there. If not it is best to just die silently and let them do their job treating Covid as it frustrates them to do anything outside of reading a paper and pushing a button while telling you to wear a mask.

I walked in the ER at 3pm and was in the back in less than 5 mins. I'm done now and it's 3:22pm. The best ER I've ever been to. The nurses are very friendly and doctor was lovely. Highly recommend.
