I have two horses at Meadow Lake. Heather, Steve, and staff are super attentive to the horses’ behavior and physical wellbeing. Whether it be a small cut or colic, Heather is very quick to communicate. One time my older horse had an episode of colic and Heather walked him for almost 2 hours while I rushed to get there. I am forever so grateful that she was willing to do that. The grounds are incredibly well maintained. The barn is always kept clean and the fields are picked daily. The arena footing is taken care of very well, dragged and watered often. The overall atmosphere is organized and peaceful. I am so thankful for Heather and Steve. I can relax knowing my horses are safe and sound each night.

Heather is fantastic with lessons. My daughter is learning so much. She truly cares about each kiddo and works with them to be able to pick up what they are learning. The lesson horses are fabulous and the environment is one of a big family. It's a great facility where people are genuine and kind and look out for eachother. We love it!

If you’re looking for premier boarding outside of Colorado Springs this is your place! All levels of riding are welcomed and encouraged. Such a great community who is focused on lifting one another up + practicing good horsemanship. Clean facilities, owners extremely tuned in to the needs of each horse and communicate with such professionalism! Highly highly recommend!
