Figs is a super sharp and insightful therapist. He’s also deeply sensitive and empathetic. I know him as a colleague, having participated in workshops and professional development trainings with him. He is warm, tuned-in, and perceptive. I appreciate how he uses humor to make it easier to work with challenging emotions. He is easy to connect with, accepting and caring. He has a unique ability to create safety (even in the midst of the most emotionally escalated experiences), bring his own humor and humanity to the table (making the relating style real and natural), and provide the support and insight you're paying for in a truthful, professional, and open manner.

The one thing I can say about Figs, is that he engages the world through his heart. We collaborated, briefly, on a residential real estate development concept. He was interested, careful, and motivated. I loved the way he leaned into it, and was open to learning along the way. What I learned through our association was how much he loved his home town, and how respectful and aware he was of both his and my feelings. Making money was important to him, but equally so were matters of the heart. Above all he was careful to care for our 'relationship', such as it was, in this financial dealing. Bottom line: I would trust him with both my money and my delicate feelings.
