If you have Austism spectrum disorder or any kind of sensory sensitivity do NOT seek help here! Staff closed me up in a tiny room and sat down in a chair blocking the door just to tell me I can’t receive services, after waiting 2 hours for an appointment I had scheduled at 8am. They sat me in there to tell me that and then proceeded to try and use me as a practice dummy for a trainee asking me a million questions about what brought me in despite the fact that I completed an intake form that they obviously didn’t read…Then they had me wait another 20 minutes just to give me the website for autism assistance… google only takes a minute. I could have googled it instead of waiting in that urine and fecal saturated overstimulating hell they call a waiting room. The waiting room literally smells like they use urine to clean the floors. They don’t sanitize the pens they have (they wrap them in decorative paper coverings and only have 2 pens out for everyone to use). Everyone uses the same pens and there’s no hand sanitizer in sight. Also witnessed front desk staff ignore a woman in a wheel chair and help 3 other people, because they never looked up to see if someone needed help. What if that was a child? The start of the waiting line is also very weirdly positioned. This is not a safe place. Avoid it at all cost and seek help elsewhere.

I am very thankful and grateful for the services I received. I was never mistreated in any way. I think it is an excellent facility. I really thought the group counseling was very helpful to help you focus and know what your next step in life is going to be.

Dr. David Bloch MD felt compelled to tell me all about a case in which a Black woman was grievously mistreated by the medical system. He then then turned right around out and blithely mistreated another Black woman like it was nothing.

Today 3/29/2018 I had a hostile encounter with Rhonda from medical records, she (yelled) raised her voice at me and told me to be quiet and listen, after being told paperwork wasn't ready, I was told it would be ready in 15 days then she changed it to 15 business days she told me not to come back unless they call me, she repeated herself and she said "Don't come back". After she yelled at me I Instantly I felt my anxiety coming on heart started beating fast and couldn't catch my breath I was embarrassed and humiliated. She was very unprofessional mean and rude. It's outbursts like hers the reason why I avoid being in public, I felt I was being attacked. Anxiety was through the roof all day and didn't sleep that night. UPDATE:: 4/9/2018 it's been over 15 business days and still no phone call and paperwork still not ready Apparently this place isn't organized, because I'm still waiting to get the paperwork I requested on 3/15/2018.

DISCRIMINATORY AGAINST LOW INCOME MOTHERS. Dr. De Espinosa refuses to allow me to have therapy services as I have an infant and cannot afford child care.

I would steer clear of this location there are better options availabe and the way they treat people here is very unfair. I would find a place that is sensitive to your needs. This place left a bitter taste in my mouth as I was seeking assitance for family couseling, marriage and stress counseling and they made it worse not better.

I have had counseling at this facility for over 2 years. I think the counseling groups have really helped me to deal with my day to day living.
