This school is trash! Do not send your kids here. No one cares! My child's teacher is horrible! I've reached out several times in the past few weeks to have a parent/teacher conference and she has yet to reply! I reached out to the principle and got ignored by her as well! Don't waste your time or gas bringing your kids here. It's not all cracked up to be what you think it is. I'm not sure why they have a wait list, this school is the equivalent of public school in my opinion.

Since kindergarten 2017 our family has attended TMSA. Each teacher that my oldest child has had, was outstanding. This school requires (alot of) parent enrollment. Which every school should! It really makes a difference. My child is very intelligent, yet challenged with their curriculum. I am very pleased.

I went to this school before (6th-8th grade until I've been transferred to another school) and I'm giving it one star, why one star you asked. Some of the students are the worst (starting some unnecessary drama and it's clearly uncalled for), some of the teachers yell so freaking much and oh my goodness it affects my sensory so bad (they can quit their job if they don't wanna teach), and the cafeteria food was gross and filthy (some).

This school felt like prison to me, I had the worst experiences ever here. At least it's been 10 years that I was done with it, I will never visit that school ever again (and I won't send my future children there too). I recommend no one going to this heckhole.

It's not perfect, but it is one of the best options in the area. I don't know why more people of the Caucasian persuasion don't enroll here, they desperately need the diversity-because as schools go this is a pretty safe place. (The likelihood of a kid from a gun-owning household with his daddy's AK47 walking into the school and shooting up little kids is *really slim*.)
Give this school a chance. Oh, so there's a lot of black kids? If you're racist just say so.
Otherwise, enroll, get involved in the PTA and be present. Schools are only as good as the parents who are involved.

There’s so much that I can say about this school, but everyone’s experience is different and I understand that. One thing for sure though, they definitely need to take a look into their safety procedures. I went to pick up my son early from school one day and I literally just walked in and told the front desk his name and they called for him. I didn’t show ANY identification, I didn’t even sign anything for record of me taking him out. They originally sent the wrong student out to me, a middle schooler I believe, my son is in elementary. Smh. That alone left a very bad taste in my mouth. My son also came home with an open gash on his eyebrow and told me he bumped into someone’s teeth at school. He said he went to the nurse but she was on lunch so he didn’t see anyone. I was NEVER INFORMED ABOUT THIS INCIDENT. I had to reach out to his teacher and let her know, which she had no knowledge of. This is just the lack of information aspect that TMSA has, I won’t even get into how his classroom/grade system is ran. Side note: teachers should be differentiating for the students in their class which they are not.

This School’s basically a dictatorship in glitter and flowers The uniform rules are unreasonably strict. Many of the teachers they hire are not qualified to teach students except a Few Teachers. The lunch is flavored dirt and many students are bullied but nothing is done about it the bully gets a talk and is let go. Terrible school wouldn’t recommend. If you do send someone here then send them in Kindergarten, this place is torture

I wish I could rate this 0 stars, my child spend one day there and already want to leave. The staff were talking down on the kids and the students were horrible. I liked one of the teachers, Ms Griffith was the only good teacher I heard my child talk about (6th grade). I DONT suggest going and if your child does, please ask and listen closely about their day.

This school is not what you think it is! Please do your research first I currently have a student their I was so disappointed in this school especially the principal and the assistant principal allowing staff to threw children food in the trash and children stand on the wall eating... Parent please be mindful of your child or children behavior and stop and take time to listen to your child or children when they come home and tell you their experiences in this school... As a parents to other parent I don't wish this on other parent! 9 I am glad a find a new school especially that care about a child with disabilities!
