Melissa is a gift from heaven! Positive, encouraging, knowledgeable, and always up for challenging issues, all for the success of pups and their owners. We connected with Melissa for help with our highly anxious, excitable dog who also has compulsive behaviors. Melissa is kind, patient, highly skilled, professional and encouraging. She is very accessible and a pleasure to work with! On day one of our private, in-home training, we were able to loose leash walk our dog in our neighborhood for the 1st time. (Lexi’s terrible behavior had prohibited that prior.) On our 3rd session, we were able to walk Lexi in the downtown area (another 1st)! Melissa’s intuitive approach addressed our dog’s boredom, compulsive fur pulling, and anxiety and we now have the skills to redirect those behaviors. Melissa has been a game changer for us! We now have hope that our dog can be understood and guided in the right direction. Her prices are beyond reasonable as well. We highly recommend Melissa at Love and Loyalty Dog Training!

Melissa has been a God send for helping me with my adopted rescue hounds. This was my first real experience with all positive reinforcement training. She has been so patient with me and the dogs and we have seen huge improvements in both of them. One was depressed and shut down when I adopted him, and has been particularly stubborn and vocal, but through persistence and positivity, we've found great success. They are now very happy hounds.
