I was having nerve issues due to hand surgery from a fractured radius and ulna. Occupational Therapy was not improving my condition. On top of that, I was battling several other, unrelated chronic conditions that labs revealed. Not serious, but moving beyond normal. Mark and Paul worked intentionally, and explained their processes in a manner a layman could understand. And then, I had the dietary tests for food sensitivities. Wow. My PCP would tell me all the things I knew - eat a healthy diet and exercise. I can't tell you how long I was following that advice. But until I could hear through Mark and Paul's ultrasound tests did I understand, as they explained, it's not that I haven't been eating poorly, it's the farming practices that degrade the quality of our foods, putting our system into fight or flight mode. You can literally hear the change before the tests and after. The effect on my decision was profound. Four weeks after eliminating these from my diet, all labs are normal and the numbness is gone. Also, I haven't had a single A-fib episode and the occasional eczema flare ups since changing my diet. It wasn't as hard as I thought. There are many inflammation cookbooks available to use. I still have work from a damaged nerve that was not diagnosed by my doctor but that Paul and Mark did, so that's another plus. Thank you for all you have done to change my life.

The entire experience was very fulfilling. My dad has been suffering from Diabetic Neuropathy for about 10 years now and this is the first time he has felt relief without taking any medication.
The therapy, homework exercises and the diet has helped relieve his pain tremendously. We are all very thankful to Diana, Jay, Miranda and Karla for all the help and support throughout the entire process.

I have had peripheral neuropathy in my feet, and eventually my calves as well, for 16 years, and there are many other weird symptoms (too numerous to mention here) that I had suspected as being connected with my neuropathy.

With Mark and Paul at Loma Linda, I’ve finally come to therapists who have a very deep understanding of the fundamental cause-and-effect mechanisms at work in neuropathy, and who have the knowledge and skills to deactivate these harmful mechanisms and begin activating healthy ones!

I am constantly amazed by the power and depth of the Intraneural Facilitation neuropathy therapy that I have been receiving at Loma Linda,. The experience has been (and continues to be) life changing. It is unlike any other therapy I’ve ever experienced or been aware of.

As I understand it, the root of the problem is that not enough blood is reaching the nerves because of inflammation in the microvascular tissue. Not only are Mark and Paul able to measure blood flow and inflammation in many different parts of the body by using ultrasound, but they are also able to measure changes due to the consumption of foods suspected of causing inflammation. And of course, they can compare before-and-after measurements to quantify the impact the therapy has had.

Thus, the therapy addresses both the causes of inflammation (some of the prime suspects include diet, stress and poor sleep hygiene – another source of stress), as well as methods to increase blood circulation to the nerves, and it includes both therapy sessions at Loma Linda as well as daily home exercises. The therapy also includes exercises to heal the Vagal nerves (which regulate most of the involuntary functions of the body, and which are adversely affected by the neuropathy), and to calm the sympathetic nervous system, which (in my case at least) tends to get stuck in a fight-or-flight mode.

I’ve also had many long conversations with Mark and Paul regarding the cause-and-effect mechanisms at work in my case, and this has been immensely helpful to me because as a scientist, understanding cause-and-effect mechanisms is very important, and it helps me to better cooperate consciously and energetically with the healing process.

I do the home exercises with great regularity and enthusiasm – they take time but they’re making a big difference. And I complement these with better sleep hygiene, important changes in diet, and regular exercise. Before starting therapy, I felt as if I were in an energy “straitjacket” (one of the many weird symptoms I alluded to earlier), but now every time I finish doing the exercises I feel as if inner energy channels are being opened, and there are wonderful feelings of peace, inner quietness and well-being that I had not experienced for many years. I’m feeling more alive, and my neuropathy symptoms are starting to subside. And now that I understand that my sympathetic nervous system tends to be stuck in a fight-or-flight mode, this is very helpful because this enables me to view it with detachment as a spectator, instead of getting subconsciously hooked into it, and into all the inner restlessness that it entails. As a bonus, I’ve observed that the arthritis symptoms in my knees and hands are also starting to subside, due, I’m assuming, to the improved blood circulation in these areas.

In summary, I’m immensely grateful to Mark and Paul (and to Krystalline, the Patient Navigator, who has been super helpful in many ways) for all they’ve done and are doing for me, and I know that I’m in very good hands with them. This Intraneural Facilitation neuropathy therapy approach has the potential, in my opinion, to revolutionize neuropathy therapy because, unlike other approaches I’ve been exposed to, it gets directly to the root of the problem, deactivates the harmful cause-and-effect mechanisms involved, and begins activating the opposite healing mechanisms! Mark, Paul and Krystalline deserve far more than the five stars max that Google allows!!!

I can't begin to express how grateful I am for being treated here through Mark and his team. Many years ago I was told by a doctor that I was going to need a knee replacement but since starting therapy here at the center I have literally grown bone back and I have no worry that I'm going to need surgery ever in the future. I am beyond blessed to be here. What Mark and his team does is honestly life-changing and anyone who comes here would be lucky to see him. Thank you Mark and everyone for helping throughout my healing journey. ❤️

I am so happy the ad for LLUH Neuropathic Therapy Center showed up in my Instagram feed. I have been suffering with neuropathy in my feet for 10 years and was told that I would have to live with it. I immediately contacted the center and scheduled an evaluation. I cannot express the gratitude and appreciation I have for Drs. Bussell and Samosky and the entire staff for the help I've received. I began my treatments July 3rd, and with dietary changes and the specialized exercises and not to mentioned the intense treatments designed to meet my specific needs, I am nearly pain free 8 weeks later. No prescriptions, no invasive procedures. I can now feel my whole foot contacting the floor when I stand. I can walk barefoot. I no longer have the burning sensations as if my feet were on fire at night, then they become bricks of ice, and I was sleeping with socks on. I have not slept with socks on now for two weeks. The added unmentioned bonus is with the recommended changes to my diet, I have lost 15 lbs. WOW!!!The dietary changes and exercises have become my new way of life. I intend to continue the exercises and my new way of looking at food. I strongly recommend contacting the Center if you suspect or have been told that you have neuropathy. They are the BEST!

It was so refreshing to meet such caring people who understand pain and struggles with neuropathy, from the staff and therapists who worked with me at Loma Linda Neuropathic Treatment Center.
I feel fortunate to have had Mark, Paul and Diana provide INF treatments along with food testing to help me understand food sensitivity triggers to my system.
The two rounds of treatment definitely helped improve my sense of balance, pain and quality of life. With home exercises and diet changes, I am hopeful to continue improving.
I am very thankful for my experience at Loma Linda University Health Neuropathic Therapy Center.

When I was first diagnosed with neuropathy, I was devastated and hopeless as I was told there is no cure for it. I was browsing the internet trying to learn more about the illness and I came across the Loma Linda Neuropathic Center. When I started the treatment, I had numbness and burning sensation in my feet and arms (among other symptoms) but with the treatment, exercise therapy and diet I feel much better. Now that I finish the treatment, I can tell the difference of how bad I was feeling when I started.
Diana and Paul are so compassionate and gave me so much hope every time that I felt extremely optimistic after each visit. I know recovery is not gonna happen overnight, but I will continue with the exercise therapy at home and will continue avoiding the foods that I was allergic to.
Thanks so much to all Loma Linda Neuropathic Therapy Center team, everyone is so caring and friendly.
