My grandson has attended Inland Empire Martial Arts since he was 7 years old. He is now 15 years old and a junior black belt under the instruction of Sensi Haga. Sensei Haga is a wonderful instructor of Shotokan karate and the martial arts. He is very patient, passionate, and caring with all of his students young and old. He is very well educated and skilled in the martial arts and karate. Our grandson is very grateful and thankful for teaching him the skills of Shotokan karate. My husband and I believe that knowledge of martial arts is very important for everyone. Our grandson will be able to get his official (adult) black belt when he is sixteen years old. Sensei Haga is also a current vendor for Sage Oak Charter School,
which is another plus in our book. You should definitely give Inland Empire Martial Arts a try. If you have been interested in learning karate. I know that you won't be disappointed.

Sensei Scott Haga is very knowledgeable, experienced, and a great teacher. My family and I have been going to him for approx. 3 yrs and it's been a great experience. We love going every Tuesday and Thursday. He is patient and encouraging, and varies the lessons of each class. From basics(kihon), forms(kata), sparring(kumite), cardio, and real world applications, there is an abundance of
variety. It's great for all ages and levels of experience. I have recommended his classes to numerous people and will continue to do so.

My son absolutely thrives with a Scot Haga! He is fair and firm with the students. We appreciate the traditional Shotokan style because it has enhanced not only his physical coordination but his relationship with his peers. We’ve also seen an amazing academic boost! Before training regularly with Sensei Haga he refused to read and now he is reading three grade levels above! Amazing what karate can accomplish!! Thank you 😊

Inland Empire Martial Arts Academy has been such a great experience for my girls! They have learned discipline and tools for self defense. Sensei Scott is patient yet assertive in his instruction. I highly recommend for all ages!
