They do not properly reach out to their patients, the cancellation fee costs more than the appointment, and needs to be done 48 hours in advance so if you have anything come up last minute you are totally screwed. Their telehealth is extremely inconvenient, and confusing, you have to jump through a lot of hoops just to get into the appointment, and when you finally get into it, they don't show up until 15-20 minutes after the start time. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical "professional". Not to mention they didn't tell me every single visit would be considered a "psychiatry" visit instead of the traditional therapy appointment just so that they could bill me more.

My therapist there is lovely and helpful and wonderful. She deserves 5 stars. However the process for prescriptions is painful. You can’t use the online portal to schedule, you have to call, which is inconvenient, but fine. They schedule you at least a month and a half out. The first person I worked with was incredibly condescending, so I asked to see someone else for the follow up for a refill. They scheduled me out 2 months later. However my refills were due to run out before then. I reached out to ask about it, and they responded that it had plenty of refills, and the pharmacy needed to reach out. But meanwhile my pharmacy was sending me frantic messages that there were no refills. Finally they responded to say that I was in fact out of refills, and that I needed to meet with the prescriber first… but that meeting was scheduled for after my refills ran out! Fortunately I was able to find another provider who helped me to avoid that gap in medicine, but if it were up to LifeStance I would have been left in the lurch. In my experience, LifeStance has been great for teletherapy, but unorganized and unhelpful for medication.
