It's a great place to be on a Sunday afternoon 😁, or any given day to Smoot a sunrise or sunset on the west. You can fish for bass, crape, trout and carp, cayak, and boat around the lake. It's a small lake to enjoy our family party. The restrooms are a little dirty, but what can be expected from a public place. I love to come outhere to watch the sunsets 😈

I always like coming here very nice. Good for family picnic and if you want to go swimming. Very relaxing. At the front there’s like a small shed where you have to pay but honestly every time that I come no one is there so it’s free. Always like coming here to hangout with friends 🙂

Peace and serenity... Our family enjoys every time we go and visit it. Life gets hard what's a good way to go and have a pause from adversity. I really wish they can get more funding to help keep up the park need new picnic tables bad. But other than that clean and very much enjoyable.

This park is a nice place to go to. It's a nice big lake. It's Merced County's Lake. It does seem a little dirty and some people I know will not even swim in it. It would take just a little effort to clean the beach areas up. You can't walk barefooted on the grass cuz it's nothing but stickers. A lot of money is made off this park $6 per vehicle. Come on Merced County clean this park up. People really like it here..

Beautiful experience at this lake no matter what part of the lake I go to! The bathrooms were clean and stocked and hand soap provided. The bathrooms were cement floors and beige brick walls and wooden beams with wire to keep it ventilated. There is a place were you cab rent paddle boards and you can fish, you can take your boat. There is a playground. Plenty of tables to eat. There is several beach areas to wade in and have the kids build sandcastles or just sun bathe. There's a beautiful dock for a better view of the water. There is a fee from 8- 5 but it's not much like $6 and if you go after 5... although I went at 4 and no one was there then it's free. You can also buy for the season. There's some wild life and a portion in the very back is for reservations for big parties.. it can cost a couple $100. On the weekends and holidays it is packed so I would suggest to come early to get a shady spot or bring a canopy and chairs for shade and seating. You'd want to brink your own beverages. But clean up after yourself because we don't want this beautiful lake trashed. When I just want to feel serene I come here. You should check it out!

Love this lake! It's very nice to relax, have a picnic, walk, and take a nap. The geese are very nice to look at. I also like that it wasn't full of people.

Came here again. We rented a kayak. It was fun. There were more people, and parents let their kids throw stuff at geese and scare them 🙄

Also, FYI, restrooms don't have toilet paper, so bring your own and don't DON'T FORGET TO FLUSH!! And use the trash cans for trash.
