Full of kids and with a gorgeous rose garden, lacy park is a great place is San Marino to take a walk, relax and unwind. There's a playground and a main paved path that goes in a circle where many kids go to bike, scooter and skate. There is a playground, rose garden, and picnic tables on the outsides of the circle and a grassy natural area in the middle of the circle path. There are also other dirt paths circling the park if you prefer a more shady and quiet walk.

Public bathrooms are available at this park along with water fountains and an abundance of trash cans.

We live in the neighborhood and the playground itself is very disappointing. They used to have a really nice net to climb for the kids, it’s been gone for 2 years now and hasn’t been replaced. A shade is missing and now the monkey bars are gone. It looks very ghetto. So much mud across from the playground, the grass needs to be reseeded. I always see workers around, not exactly sure what they’re cleaning up or fixing

What a beautiful park! It's nestled in a quiet and really nice neighborhood in San Marino. It has a nice walking path surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees. There's a nice children's playground which has a little library so they can borrow books which I thought was nice. Dogs running around in the grass enjoying the huge space and kids practicing for t-ball. It's a great family park. I came around 1pm to do some work on my computer and be outdoors and then went for a walk around the grounds and left at 5pm. Before kids are let out of school the park is super peaceful and quiet and serene and then it starts becoming busier and louder. So if you want total peace and quiet come earlier in the day or find a place far away from the main areas. There's benches literally everywhere and there's a small garden also. There's bathrooms as well. Open to the public for free on weekdays and weekends it's $5 for non residents. Also there's two parking lots and the one in the front at the main entrance of the park is very small and the back entrance is bigger. I parked in the street which there was plenty of parking before 5pm. Enjoy!

Wonderful park. Lots of doggies and children. Great, spacious paved loop for kiddos to bike, skate or scooter on. Nice spacious playground with great activities. Perfect for walking and plenty of benches for resting. Rose garden and plentiful parking. Entrance on both ends of the park. Only issue I've had is with the attendant on the weekend (older Caucasian man) who didn't ask the two park goers in front of me for proof of residency but assumed I was not a resident, stopped me and attempted to charge me the weekend park fee. I kindly pointed out his "random" questioning, but received no apology. I was not amused, but the park is great and safe for all, and it is free during weekdays.

One of my favorite places to visit! A stunning, peaceful park! It's nestled in a quiet neighborhood in San Marino. We love the children's playground which also has a little library. Perfect park for picnics! The greenery is superb and the atmosphere is so nice. One of the only parks I feel completely safe and comfortable. Enjoy!

Quick note: non-residents pay an entry fee (worth every penny).

Park was stunning for our visit. So many varieties of beautifully vibrant flowers, some of which we'd never seen before. The park has a nicely kept Veterans memorial, which I always appreciate. Two loops around the park; the outer one is for walkers and runners only. Great visit.
