One of the worst therapy sessions I've ever been to.

The receptionist was rude over the phone and even scoffed\laughed at me. Extremely demanding and bothers you about paperwork, etc. The therapist I saw actually fake sniffed and fake wiped a fake tear to try and act empathetic (SO obvious). Super pretentious and fake empathetic, not the two best qualities one would want from a therapist. My anxiety went into overdrive and she had me sitting on pins and needles from the get go even despite all the "calming blue" furniture and pictures of waves and oceans!

Speaking of waves you will immediately be hit with intense vibes of "well I'm a licensed psychologist and you are suffering and I'm not so I'm smarter\better than you". Not a good combination for anyone suffering trauma from bad relationships! She will just cut you off, shake her head with a "do as I say" or "just listen to me" type attitutde.

It will quickly become apparent that all they care about is money and don't actually care about their patients. They are cookie cutter therapists that use methods from beginner level psych classes that anyone can find on the internet nowadays, so they resort to tricking and deceiving their patients.

The WORST part is how they'll say certain words (like making "print and sign" sound like "pray and sign") or make certain hand gestures, but it's ALL a show, like the fake tearing up. They don't actually know anything about what is truly going on and are merely trying to monetize.

I'd recommend looking at the 1 star reviews for their 5855 Naples location too. Even at this location notice that the two 5 star reviews for this site are generic and fake sounding and from people who've only left 1 review and they're from 3+ years ago. The other one from Looptopia Labs is completely fake too!

(Yes I only have 1 review so far, but after 15+ years of using Google, this place infuriated me so much I decided to actually take my time to write a review because psychology is not something that should be taken lightly and I'm just trying to make sure no one gets triggered or retraumatized or manipulated. They are the type to try and prey and those who are in a vulnerable position, the trusting types, the truly empathetic types, etc. Some of these psychs actually work with children too, which is even worse!

Stay far far away! Beware of this dark, dark place. You have been warned.

Karma has been the Best therapist I have seen. She has helped me greatly get back to a more positive place in my life. She has help me to not constantly think of those who have hurt me and trying to figure out why. Which was consuming my life. She has become someone I trust and continue talk to about any new struggles that come up and also the positive things that are happening in my life. She is very professional I have never had a problem with scheduling or billing.

I've been seeing Karma for a long time. I recommend always being a bit like Goldilocks when picking a therapist. I tried a few before seeing her but her style and support fit best for me. She's honest, straight forward and encouraging. She's always been clear about billing and scheduling. I've overcome emotional struggles and made great strides in my personal growth journey with her help. I recommend giving her a chance to see if she fits just right for you.

The worst treatment I've ever received for someone who calls themselves professional. Timing, billing, and communication were all a mess. She was the least empathetic or helpful person for someone who is in the line of serving vulnerable people. Sessions felt more like interrogations and I always left feeling more judgement and shame than I began with. It took me a long time to trust another person in this field because of her, but now I realize with a new professional, what good therapists are supposed to be like, instead of condescending and demeaning. Please look elsewhere, especially if you are in an especially fragile state of mind.

Our family started coming to Waves of Peace and we are very pleased with the attention and help we are getting. We are learning new coping mechanisms and ways to promote better behaviors when interacting with each other. Couldn't recommend Waves of Peace more!
