Updated review. Kaniksu really needs to select more.experienced and professional employees. All the way across. I do not get call backs. Others I know say that has happened to them also. One call back came.so late, I'm at a different location. Some are curt and rude. Just poor performance. The few that are good should be more. If you are seeking quick care, something serious as mental health this may be a place to skip.

I was there today, I have no clue what happened to nice nurses of Kaniksu, but the receptionist was amazing with us. They nurse was a with a really bad attitude and she refused to take care of my husband, She said we don’t know you and I can’t give you any services, she was more interested where my husband is from then his health. it’s walk in clinic, I really want to talk to someone who takes decisions in the Kaniksu health,

We were thankful to have been able to see the same pediatrician for more than 14 years. When that provider retired, we were anxious about reestablishing with someone new. We had zero reason to worry. Kaniksu doesn't just have great providers but they have an incredible care team working together to ensure that our health needs are covered in a safe, respectful, private and efficient way.

I have been going to kaniksu community health since they opened up the new location and even take my kids, the pediatrics has been amazing and friendly and welcoming. With the adult services and care I have found them to also be for the most part sincere and kind and have felt welcomed and listened to. However, I am finding myself leaving a review because of my most recent visit, I have never encountered a more condescending and just rude nurse in my life, her attitude made an impact on the entire rest of my visit and my whole day. Then she called me on behalf of the amazing doctor that I had no issues with, with the same horrible attitude and remarks. I hope I never have to deal with this nurse again in the future and will avoid it at all costs because nobody should feel like that from a nurse or any doctor when seeking questions or help you should feel listened to and comfortable not dismissed and judged and talked down to. I don't know if it was just me or what but I'm hoping this nurse is not like that with everyone especially the elderly or people that need a friendly and warm person taking them back. Even more ironic is it was a nurse for women's health, the worst possible choice for her placement I may say.

After 4 years with kaniksu, finally giving up. Searching for a new clinic for our family Initially fantastic... for me, my wife and our son who has never seen anyone but kaniksu. my wife and i dont need to visit often but when we did, professional and solid care. Over the last year or so, kaniksu service has plumeted... not sure what suddenly changed... but it cleary has... haven't been able to see my primary since I don't remember when... and seldom less than 6 and up to 12 weeks for any apt... even w practitioner. just booked an apt for mid february (10 weeks out) on a painful and limiting issue that will likely need to be addressed at emergency if it gets worse... long before this. Completely worthless for any practical use and extremely damaging to anyone with ongoing issues. I had an auto accident that requires timely routine followups and basic treatment. Every call results in a suggestion to go to urgent care for the day with zero openings for weeks... even months out. Not to mention the recent treatment recommendations have been very poor and often incorrect adding unnecessary added health issues, missed treatment options and not the slightest bit of concern when we tried to address this directly multiple times. They have essentially blocked any reasonable access to Healthcare leaving us with urgent and emergency options for basic needs and the time lost, wasted use of emergency care and bills that will come along with it... until we can find a clinic that actually sees their patients.
If you're searching for a clinic that you can actually visit when necessary... this is certainly not the place to look at this time.

They never ever respond to messages. I’ve been going there since the 80’s, back when your doctor was professional and cared. Now, with the high turnover you will fall through the cracks. At least the medical department has really slipped. I have to say the pharmacy and mental health are amazing. I hate to leave a review like this, but today I tested positive for Covid, have COPD and am on oxygen. I was expecting the nurse to calll me back.

Warning, if you're heavy they only see a fat person. I have something going on that is spiraling my whole body out of control and in trying to figure it out have had multiple visits with doctors who've ignored the testing I've requested, falsified my records, tell me they'll do specific testing then not do it, and then completely ignored that I've asked for something to help with anxiety and depression. They've pushed hard for me to be on weight loss shots even after my denying interest in them. I know they're seeing results of a problem but won't call back to do anything about it. I can no longer afford appointments and lab costs. Don't go here unless you're one of the people who get it all for free. I wish you better luck than me.

All the office staff, medical staff, doctors and dentists, are right there for you as a patient. For myself, I feel connected to this as my very own medical clinic, even if I didn't qualify for sliding scale fee. As for my husband, the M.D. at the time and the pharmacist both literally saved his life by helping him deal with diabetes - this was eight years ago! For most of our needs, and we are both seniors, Kaniksu Community Health is the place to be.
