It is difficult to schedule services with Kaiser Behavioral Health and you have to jump through hoops to get any help at all. Unless you use the word suicide, do not expect any level of decent service. Even when your child has a history of therapy, a psychiatrist, and medical intervention, it’s difficult to get any help.

Her psychiatrist is great, hence the two stars instead of one. He is the only one who seems to have any interest in keeping my daughter from harming herself. Everyone else is just doing a job and checking off boxes to get a paycheck.

They haves always went above and beyond what I expected. Drs that actually care to take the time and call me on my lunch break and help me make through a horribly tough time. At the time the Kaiser app was new but they responded almost instantly to questions and concerns. Which is what led to my Dr calling me which will always make Kaiser stand out in my mind as the best insurance/medical provider.

It is always a struggle to get these people to get you with the right therapist. They will refer you to a therapist who doesn't specialize in the condition trying to fix.

It’s great service here. But Stephanie the nurse is terrible and lacks proper training during a crisis situation. It’s best to try to contact a doctor or someone extensively trained
