While visiting a loved one at a nearby nursing home, this coffee shop was a wonderful surprise, an oasis of kindness and comfort! It's a short ride off the westbound Hwy 35 exit, equipped with a drive-thru. Tasty food options, WiFi, plenty of interior seating, and a kind staff.

I love this place! Food & pastries are always tasty. I tend to go for non-espresso options when it comes to drinks and they are delicious! We stopped here on our way home from a road trip. The food was a delightful surprise; I was astounded by the quality of the food items we ordered. Even though we traveled with a pretty big group, the staff was patient, kind, and handled us very well. I’d highly recommend this Story City gem.

Delightful cafe! Atmosphere was relaxing, staff were friendly, helpful, and considerate, breakfast and coffee were hot and excellent, seating area and and bathrooms were clean. I'd be a regular if I lived nearby.

Found this place from a sign on 35 on my commute home from work. The coffee was pretty good. They get their beans from Sioux City so you're supporting Iowa through and through. The Cortado was decent. The Dancing Goat was good except you couldn't taste the Irish creme at all. The winner for me was the August special, Blue Ribbon Peach Pie latté! There was a hint of peaches, it wasn't too sweet, and the espresso to steamed milk to foam ratio was perfect! Staff was awesome! It's cute, and neat inside. The indoor counter setup is kind of weird because you're blocked by the espresso machine and there's no POS station to indicate you're supposed to order there. I'd stop here again, though.

Ordered iced lattes and food for brunch. Everything was fresh, made to our preferences, with good portions. Workers were friendly too. Highly recommend. Even if you’re looking for lunch in story city, this place is a little more expensive than McDonald’s or Dairy Queen but the food is a lot better.
