I dropped in last week, visiting from Tempe. Stephanie at the front desk was very welcoming. The students were very friendly, and Joel led a high-energy class with fun drills and competitive rolls. Although the class I attended had mostly white belt students, I could tell they had received quality instruction. As a woman, I was pleased to see a group of regular women students, which can be unusual in a newer BJJ school. Looking forward to visiting again when I'm in the area.

Excellent and welcoming atmosphere and instruction. I started off as a 400+ pound, out of shape noob and have progressed slowly, but surely, losing almost 70 pounds over a 9 month period. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a beautiful, intense and life-changing art and THIS is the place to do it in Douglas, AZ!

Joel and his team in Douglas, AZ are phenomenal jiu-jitsu players. Joel has years of experience teaching and it shows, as many of his students have placed at the large state tournaments in Phoenix this year. The kids program is top notch too, if you're in the area, and have kids, send them here to learn real self defense. Highly recommend this gym!
