I have worked with Jenny on and off for the last few years. She has been a rock-solid counselor the entire time. My experience with this facility was beyond a nightmare. Kathryn Mantravadi not only falsely accused me of being an aggressive towards her in a court room costing me a year of parenting time with my child. She also threatened to harm my 4 year old daughter, if she didn’t put away toys during one of our sessions. She is a Candidate not actually licensed as a therapist and Mrs. Coffey allowed this sort of behavior from her staff. Repeatedly Kathryn has worked outside of her scope to ensure I would not have parenting time with my child. Her combatant behavior is a disgrace to the field of psychotherapy. I would highly discourage anyone especially males and children from seeking treatment from this facility. The staff was horrible, under qualified and the supervisor allowed all of this to happen on her watch so no luck with getting help to resolve an issue amicably if you had any hope

Jenny Coffey counseling is one of the best practices in Colorado Springs. I have worked with multiple therapist here, doing both regular Thearpy and EMDR. Working on mental health is not an easy thing to do. But the staff at JCC have an amazing balance of pushing you forward and making sure you feel safe and heard during this process. Also the location is very nice and clean, if you care about that.
