I have never left a negative review but feel like I need to warn others. I was so hopeful when I took my son here to see Corey Weaver. But what we experienced continues to baffle me. I brought my teenage son experiencing suicidal thoughts and depression. Corey saw him four times and during that time had prescribed him some medication. On our fourth visit he met with my son and did not refill his medication or talked to me about any different plan of action. When he walked him out I asked him about setting up our next appointment and he said not to which I thought was strange but didn't question because he said he was going to call me that day. I assumed he would give me more information on our next steps. I waited by my phone the entire day but no phone call came. It is 2 months later and I have received no contact from him. He simply dropef my son without any explanation or help. We are left grappling with this mental illness and not knowing where to move forward to. It's hard-breaking and confusing. I would not recommend going here.

I was referred to Corey by my Therapist and I am very impressed with him. He is compassionate, honest, understanding and personable. He listens and doesn't throw meds at you. He truly wants what is best for you and will work with you to ensure that you are moving in the right direction. AWESOME!!!

Not your typical drug drive-through

I (21 male) started seeing Corey on a whim after a very hard first year of college. Before Corey, I had been going to a physiatrist, recommended by my family pediatrician, for around 2 years for ADHD. I didn’t realize until I got out of my family home how (in my opinion) hallow and tunnel-visioned my physiatrist's care was. I had attempted to express my challenges (that looking at it now, should have maybe indicated something additional was going on) but was continually reassured I was normal (other than my focus), brushing aside real problems and pushing them under the table. Skip to the summer after my hard year at school, my psychiatrist stopped communication when I felt like I needed help the most. I decided there was better patient care out there and decided I needed a change.

I’m not sure what brought me to Corey/ Integrated Psychiatry, but the decision to book that first appointment was truly an act of some higher power/luck /pick a name. I went in thinking this doctor's office would be similar to the care I had experienced prior and I would need to play the system and work the psychiatrist so I could get the drugs I needed, this was a mindset I had learned from a doctor/psychiatrist scared to medicate his patients because of the selective hearing he had with their concerns.

While it took some time, to be honest with him, the care I’ve received from Corey over the last couple of years has been nothing short of life-changing. I feel like the medical advice/ care I’d been given before Corey by “professionals” was the equivalent to a McDonald drive drive-through. Ever since my first appointment with him, Corey has shown me nothing but great patience. hearing out my concerns fully and taking a well-rounded multi-factorial view on potential solutions instead of trying to give a one-size-fits-all-all. I would like to preface that integrated psychiatry doesn’t push meds but they aren’t scared of them. The truth is, everyone is different not every tool you try whether that’s medication, therapy, or habits is going to work for you. It’s important to be honest and patient because lots of symptoms overlap so it’s tough to get everything right on the first try. I’m so grateful I’ve found a doctor who’s so eager to help guide me instead of telling me what to do. It did take some time and some of the things we’ve tried didn’t pan out, but thanks to the support of Corey and my choice to trust him I recently started waking up feeling calm collected and truly myself.

I can’t speak for the other providers but I would highly recommend Corey, I’ve referred many of my family and friends already. I’m not sure how he does it. The amount of hours he works is impressive and shows how much he cares and wants to help improve his patients' lives.

I recently started seeing Johanna, having had my 2nd visit the other day. I am extremely happy with the care she has given me. I’ve been on a mental health journey for 18 years, and have seen many providers in my day. However, none have compared to Johanna. She is extremely knowledgeable and listens to all of my concerns. She is kind, and has really been fantastic to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone currently looking.
