Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, this place has it all. They really take pride in getting your young athlete in the right direction with one-on-one training and group training. We currently work with Coach Brad, and I cannot say enough about what he’s done for my son. He started out with group training and then eventually moved to one-on-one sessions. My son has excelled with the creative coaching from Coach Brad. I also want to thank Coach Lance, who coordinates everything, for being so professional and helping me with all my questions and needs. I highly recommend this place.

Disappointing Basketball Training – A Waste of Time and Money

I regret enrolling my kids in this basketball program. The training was poorly organized, with no scrimmage or practice games. The coaches did not take the time to explain techniques or teach the kids how to apply them in real game situations. As a result, my kids left each session without a clear understanding of how to implement what they were learning.

In contrast, at YBA (Youth Basketball Academy), every training session includes a 30-minute scrimmage, allowing the kids to practice offense, dribbling, and defense in a real game environment. Now, my kids understand how to make points and apply their skills effectively during a game.

I won’t be returning to this program again – the training was simply not worth it.

Our 2 daughters and son have been training with the fine folks at the IPT skill lab for a couple of years now. Even before the new lab opened, IPT Rocklin has been the best choice for skill enhancement in the county. If your child sticks with the training, they will get better.. they will be an asset to any team they get on. Not only do the coaches train the kids to get better at basketball, they also teach them to be good human beings. Signing up our kids with Coach Lance and IPT has been one of the best things we’ve done for them.

Our son has been in this program for several months now (and this review is long overdue). Coach Lance and his team of coaches have all been fantastic and instrumental in the growth of my son’s love, knowledge and skill for the sport. This is coming from a kid with zero experience on the court. The program is a fantastic deal for what your child gets, it is three days of intensive cardio and drills. Best decision we have probably ever made for him. Highly recommend.

My son joined the program in 1st grade in 2019 and has been part of it ever since. He loves this program and adores his coaches (Coaches Lance and Marcus)!
And we like it because it enabled our son to fall in love with basketball and acquire good game skills. Also the coaches are very professional, personal and truly invested in developing the kids. Highly recommend this program!

My son participated in the beginners program for 8 months. His skill set improved greatly during that time. Coaches Lance, Marcus, Brad and Josh work together to get the most out of the kids. I highly recommend anyone who is beginning at Basketball and is interested in getting better to sign up for the program.
