The best time to witness the fire fall is between 5:30 and 6:00 PM. Make sure to arrive early to secure a good spot, as it can get crowded. Came here in late February and saw amazing fire fall.
Tip: when the show starts, the color of the falls is golden color. If you want to see it turns red like lava, you need to stay longer. Don’t be nervous when a lot of people start to walk back to the parking lots. When the color turns red, not only falls is gorgeous but all surrounding mountain tops become red, too. One drawback is that you need to walk back to the parking lot in full darkness. Should be no problem if you take flashlight with you.
