Great school, Great people. I used HEC to get my crane certification in 2020. I have not had to go without work if I didn’t choose so since. I got every cert they offered in about 6 weeks and made the money I invested I. About 4 months. It’s time for me to re-certify after 5 years and they are helping me with study materials and even an invite to sit in class at no extra cost. Just an overall great company.

My experience at the HECOA was much more than I expected. As a student coming into the level 1 program I only had basic knowledge about certain pieces of equipment in the construction industry and unsure on how I would do in these courses, but I had some great instructors very passionate, patient and knowledgeable. If you want to learn a new skill this is the school you need to be enrolled in. Every single person on staff encourages you and wants to see you succeed . This was definitely the best decision I made this year.
Shout out to Mr. Mosley, Mrs. Tabitha, Mr. ROB, Mrs. Joy, Big Dav,Ralph and Mike. Yall made a difference in my experience and I'm forever grateful 🙏

I started attending HECOA in November '23 and was very satisfied with the help and knowledge base I left with. The staff and faculty all are fully dedicated to helping each student pass and succeed even after completing their courses. I am currently back here again on my 2nd go round and came back to same professional environment. They keep in contact with past students to see how their doing in life after completion.

I attended HECA in January for their HEO Level 1 course that took only 3 weeks to complete and after completing the finals I received my ADEPT certification for Backhoe and Front Loader. They also offer a level 2 course for Excavator and Dozer and they also have specialized Crane training (tower, lattice, boom, etc.)

I had not operated anything bigger than a forklift prior to attending. The course content and practical training was thorough and you wouldn't think you could learn that much in 3 weeks, but I learned more than I thought I could. Nothing is too difficult for even the most novice operators. My instructor was awesome and the career services team at the school are amazing. They send you job leads weekly (if not daily) and within a week of graduating I had multiple calls and a couple of offers until I found what I felt was a good fit for me. I had constant communication with all of the staff because they were always available and the campus director always had his door open for you. If I ever have the time and money to go back for Level 2 I will jump at the chance.

If you're on the fence, get off of it - HECA location in Conyers, GA is top notch!

Very helpful staff and they didn’t stand over you and tell you how to run the crane as a mirror image of themselves. They taught me the safety of the crane but they understand that everyone has their own unique way of operating. I got hired as an LBC operator immediately after graduation. Definitely a great choice for a career path

Terrible school!! I would never recommend this school to anyone!! They don't tell you everything and when you're done there is more you need to get a job which was not shared in the beginning! They just want your money. You pay for the whole thing up front and when your done they harass you about owing more money! SAVE YOURE MONEY DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!

EXCELLENT School all around; the instructors were patient, safety oriented, quite amusing and very easy to work with. The school campus is not the biggest, however, the employees there have a very genuine, family-like vibe and it reflects onto the students they teach. Although traveling from NY was no small effort, I went for all 3 levels (3/7/2016 - 5/7/2016) and will definitely be going back to this campus for Lattice Crane Training.
This is a highly veteran populated school (at-least 75% +) and they are understanding to the needs that we may have; if there are any appointments you need to attend during training, let someone there know and they will work with you!

Thank God for Tony! He is the coach K of Crane instructors. He pays close attention to every student and provides feedback while in the seat or after. He is very patient and understanding. As long as you are willing to learn and able to put your ego aside you will be successful learning from Tony. I was apart of Seibians first Crane class. Even though he was feeling his way through it, I felt he did well. He was patient( especially when it came to load charts) and answered every question that was asked even if he had to get the answer from a more experienced instructor. Lastly I can’t forget about Joy, she is the reason I am employed by The Georgia Ports Authority. She still sends me list of available employment. She is a very caring and committed career counselor. She is dedicated to making sure we hit the ground running. Thank you all
