I had booked the wrong dates, so when we arrived I did not have a reservation. Luckily, Diego helped us figure it out! Checked in and really liked the room. Smelled clean, which is always a plus in a hotel. Overall, nice, clean and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again if we plan to come back!

Great place to stay especially when visiting the Great Sand Dunes.... Morning breakfast was good ... they have whole day coffee and tea available for the guest (complimentary)... parking is free... simple nice pool and a hot tub that is open till 10 and kids are also allowed till 10 p.m... If you are here to go to great sand dunes and want to do sand sledding then you can rent a sand sled from Kristi sports for $20 (whole day) that is 2 minutes away....

I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Alamosa, CO.A staff member, Amber went above and beyond by promptly calling me about a lost item and mailing it back as a courtesy. Her exceptional service and thoughtfulness made my experience truly memorable.

've never stayed in a hotel with walls as thin as these. All night long the people to the right were talking and singing loudly, the people to the left were snoring loudly and the people above us and their dogs continously stomped around and were playing with a ball back and forth across the room. We did not sleep! We could hear the people above us showering and urinating. If you're traveling and enjoy sleeping, avoid this hotel.

Room was so unclean… Hair absolutely everywhere! The bathroom floor, sink, and shower. And in the bed. And one of the beds had brown marks on the outer cover of the comforter. So we tried to go get a blanket to sleep on the other queen bed and the blanket we got from the front desk had hair in it. They eventually brought us new bedding to make the bed ourselves without hair because they were fully booked. The girl at the front desk was kind and I understand this wasn’t her fault but the room was truly gross. Also the headboard rattled against the wall every time you moved in the bed. ||Also, the wifi doesn’t work and the shower head points straight at the wall with very little pressure. ||Overall if one of these happened it would have been okay but because it was all of these things it was a very bad stay.

Not a bad value for Alamosa (the hotel rates there are on the high side) but the hotel sorely needs a renovation. The furniture is very tired: the chair in our room was stained and unsupportive, the carpeting has seen better days. Their housekeeping is sub-par.

Tried reserving a room on Hilton's website, but kept getting an error saying it wasn't processed. So, I called the hotel directly, or at least that's what I thought I was doing, but I was redirected to someone in India who couldn't speak English, so I made my reservation at the Fairfield Inn next door. Why can't the staff at the hotel take reservations directly? So pathetic.
