Coach Scott has a great thing going here. My boys enjoy each class even though they can be a bit shy, and silly. They like for me to take them and be with them inside, so I wait in the sitting area. The rest of the students don't mind helping and are attentive when it comes to going over drills. The coach and his wife supervise the students as they do each drill and give advice or explain the next step. They even provide water and a nice clean bathroom for the students to use. I enjoy the boys having something to do other than video games, that can benefit them in the long run.

Scott is one of the most highly trained BJJ coaches in south Ga. He has over 12 years of experience and literally pours every ounce of his being into is academy. Scott makes a point to adjust classes times and curriculum to best suit the needs of his students. I would recommend this academy to any level student.

Training here is hands down one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself and for the people I love. This school is not a gym full of knuckle dragging meat heads, it's a group of people united for the purpose of improving their jiu-jitsu and improving their lives. The owners are top notch human beings and they provide a clean, safe place to train jiu-jitsu. Scott is a exceptional coach and he cares about his students. I believe anyone can learn jiu-jitsu despite any limitations they have or may think they have. You can go at your own pace and you will get out of jiu-jitsu everything that you are willing to put into it. You just have to show up.

Scott is a great coach. I’m so glad I can learn from someone with tons of experience and knowledge. Moultrie Jiujitsu Academy is a great place to learn self defense. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and I couldn’t ask for a better place to train. It is the one place that brings people together from all professions and walks of life.

Absolutely the best workout I have ever experienced. Walking through the door is truly the hardest part. Scott and Gina are so kind and professional and accepting. The promote a community of no judgment, no pressure, safety, and moving at your own pace.
Everyone in the classes is so diverse in every way. Different athletic levels, different ages from kids classes to the adult classes with some people all the way into their 60s, we all learn the same concepts and the same discipline.
I personally have a lot of physical orthopedic issues and was nervous about being able to do some of the moves but Scott and Gina and everyone in class is so respectful and stress the importance of being safe.
As a woman, knowing how to protect myself and my child and helping to deal with the anxiety that comes along with being a woman in 2022 is paramount. Jiu-jitsu has helped me learn the tools and techniques has done just that.

Hands down the best time I have ever had learning bjj and self defense. Scott has a way of teaching simple techniques with a high success rate that just work. Most are not glamorous nor do they have a catchy name, but they just work when you’re getting handled by a larger and even more experienced opponent.

I started MJJA//SJJA because my wife was interested in the sport. We have been doing jiu-jitsu for about 3 or 4 months. However, now I look forward to the next class the moment I leave class. I enjoy that Scott and Gina take their time and teach us new techniques and then give us time to practice what we have learned. I also very much appreciate their attentiveness to make sure nobody gets hurt if at all possible. I highly recommend this sport to virtually anyone. I am almost 56 years old and I love it.

Excellent place to train, everyone is very helpful and they make you feel at home fr day one. I am handicap with metal in both arms, a prosthetic leg and they treat you as if you had nothing wrong with you. I have trained Martial Arts through out my life and Gustavo Muchado is the best and most friendliest I have ever been to.
