Greg’s fine service is wonderful environment, extremely friendly, Skilled, and helpful Staff. All the aircraft operated There are professionally and meticulously maintained and well equipped with good avionics. I absolutely recommend giving Greg’s flying service a try if you want to rent a plane, take flying lessons or take your own aircraft to the maintenance Hanger. You will be hard-pressed to find something to complain about at the animas air park.

Del and the crew of mechanics and instructors are top notch. I’ve had an awesome experience learning from Michael D’Anna and renting from Gregg Flying service. The rental planes are well maintained and up to date with directives, and the staff are always prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and fun to work with. Highly recommend this FBO if you are in the area!

Greg Flying Service offers Excellent and reliable Aircraft Maintenance and the most knowledgeable and experienced instructors in the four corners region. If you are looking for flight training or instruction don’t hesitate! I began flying there almost 15 years ago and it has been a very fulfilling experience along the way. I don’t know where SW Colorado aviation community would be without Gregg Flying Services… Best mechanics in the four corners area! Friendly, attentive, and always available. In addition to the the maintenance shop, there are a number of great flight instructors operating here, so I encourage anyone in Durango to stop in and grab a card, rent a well maintained plane, and learn the skill of a lifetime, to fly!

I went through Greggs Flying Services to finish up my PPL in Durango. Mainly renting the 172 and on occasion the 182, having in house mechanics was crucial. Student pilots are hard on these machines (myself at time included) and the mechanics on staff were always prompt to address any of my pre-flight questions and fix any squawks that I found. They were willing to drop just about anything they were doing (including their lunch) to get my questions addressed and me in the air. The instructors also were exemplary with a wealth of many years of knowledge flying in the challenging terrain of the southwest corner. Without their teaching realizing a dream of getting a PPL would likely not of happened. Gregg’s has kept myself and many others safe for years with providing aircraft to rent and maintenance to owners in this region. There are no better planes available in the area than those at Greg’s Flying Service. They understand the amount of trust we as pilots put into them and in return provide exemplary work and service.
