Amazing Stay at The Grand Colorado on Peak 8!

Our stay at The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 was incredible! Sonia helped us check in, and she was so helpful and kind. She explained the layout of the property, which can be a bit tricky, but she made it so easy to understand. This made navigating the resort a breeze and really set the tone for a wonderful stay.

The property itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking mountain views from every angle. Our room was clean, cozy, and beautifully designed—especially the fireplace, which made it feel like a true mountain getaway. We also loved how many activities the resort offered, from relaxing amenities to fun things to do nearby.

One of the highlights was taking the gondola from the hotel down to town. It was such a fun and convenient way to explore Breckenridge, go shopping, and enjoy the local dining options.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 to anyone visiting Breckenridge. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This was a wonderful place to spend our ski vacation. Being right on the hill, with a ski locker near the doors that led to the lifts made it so easy for my husband and me to take turns skiing and watching our infant. Our kids loved the pools, the adults loved the outdoor infinity hot tub overlooking the mountain, and the access to town made it easy to make the most of our time in Breckenridge. The suite was spacious, comfortable, well stocked, and incredibly clean, and the staff were all so nice. And when we were resting in the room, the views couldn't be beat! It was truly a wonderful experience staying here.

We had the best time and it was perfect for all level skiers, all ages, all the different things to do for everyone! Everyone loved the Spa here and our movie night in our private 15 person theatre!! And the Gorado was a huge hit with all too! The steam room, the Sauna, , hot tub, cold plunge, then private showers, and lockers, then to gather and watch the game in big screens while having drinks was just part of why made this stay amazing!!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!!!!
This place has no consideration for patrons that booked with them, we had a natural disaster in Florida and could not make their reservation. our flight out of Florida got canceled. The airports were closed. There was no way to leave to even make the reservation . We had planned a beautiful vacation with four other hotels and four other airlines for our vacation, they all refunded, rescheduled or gave us credit. We asked to reschedule. They said no we were outside of that range in their policy, we asked for cancellation. They said no we were outside of the range for their policy. I understand policies, but when it comes to a natural disaster you don’t know 14 days in advance that this is going to happen. I am a business owner, and if this ever happened to one of my clients, I would bend over backwards to do what I could to get their money back.

I will not recommend this place or their sister places because of this reason, the words that stuck with me that they told me was, we don’t have a disaster here and we don’t care what happens in Florida.

I truly hope that these people don’t ever have to go through a natural disaster being without water without power seeing devastation all around you homes destroyed, people in utter shock.

Don't waste your time on the time share portion. The resort is clean and nice. The attractions at the resort are extra. We went in the summer and it had nice hiking paths, spa and pools. If you're going, specify if you want a certain view and no pets. Our room was adjacent to the lift and smelled like wet dog. (This was booked as a follow up from a stay at a sister resort a year prior when they were trying to sell us a timeshare at the new place).
Here's my review of the "owner try it" program:
Honestly, pretty big waste of money. My husband and I are full of regret, but so relieved we didn't commit to the time share portion and get hooked long term. We bought a "try it" membership as part of a package through a time share resort in Breckenridge. Usual vacation times are typically not available (school breaks). We've got a family of 5 and majority of listings are for 4 and under. Properties that are available have expensive all inclusive costs added to them. For times that aren't blacked out, location is not seasonally appealing. (I love Wisconsin, but want to vacation there in the summer. I gave up ice fishing a long time ago and no longer vacation there in January.) This is basically a dumping ground for resorts trying to unload rooms. There's zero incentive to Interval subscribers to have access to sought after times and locations. Really was hoping this could work for our family as we love Breckenridge and travel.

We had an amazing girls weekend on Veteran’s Day weekend. We were 11 women from NY and had the time of our lives. |What a place. What an amazing 5 star staff we had that took care of our every need!!|I want to give an extra shout out to one exceptional staff member Parker Herman. |He went so above and beyond in every way. He met us at our cars , unloaded all of our bags , heavy suitcases, and lots and lots of food and drinks, organized them, put them in the refrigerator and cupboards was so friendly, and polite , and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure our every need was met.|From start to finish our trip was amazing in every way!!

Absolutely phenomenal. I would choose this place every time I'm in Breckenridge. The views are breathtaking. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There are lots of activities on property. The property is very clean and quiet. The lodging accommodations are exceptional, as they are very spacious.

Came for a Christmas family ski vacation. Would not stay ANYWHERE ELSE in Breckenridge, Co. Grand Colorado Peak 8 has it all! Convenience to town and the slopes, beautiful modern clean accommodations, spacious rooms, full kitchen, laundry, ski lockers, good eats , spa, free shuttle, free gondola, ski school, + outstanding concierge and staff. We just returned home and have plans to go back! So much to do with the family activities. Even theatre rooms! This place is excellent!
