My children have been training at Gracie Barra Riverside for 18 months and I can confidently say it's been an amazing experience. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and patient, the atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained with recent renovations to the lobby and AC unit.
The instructors at Gracie Barra Riverside are truly passionate about Jiu Jitsu and dedicated to helping all students succeed. They break down complex techniques into easy-to-understand steps and provide personalized feedback to help you improve. My children have gained confidence and love getting feedback from their coaches.

Great coaches/trainers. SUPER CLEAN and an awesome place to learn. Many kids and parents attend. Being a parent, it's a good place to let the kids release their school stress while learning an art form. Keep up the good work!

Been to alot of BJJ gyms... by far, this gym has been my favorite. Great training partners and even better culture. The coaches are great and personable. The difficulty of training directly meets the needs of the students. In addition, the robust curriculum results in exceeding well rounded and up to date Jiu-Jitsu. HIGHLY recommend.

I have been able to train here while on vacation over the past 3 years. I have been able to attend the wrestling class on Sundays and they have been amazing. Kevin and Kendall provide a very well rounded and educational wrestling experience that people with or without a wrestling background can easily pickup the details in this class. Love visiting this gym!

I attended a few classes at Riverside while traveling for work. They were all very welcoming, gave great feedback and detailed instruction. I trained both gi and no gi classes. Both phenomenal.

I knew this place was my home the moment I walked in. The place is very clean and the business is very organized. I appreciate how much safety is prioritized especially me being a white belt who was concerned about injuries. The fundamental classes are perfectly structured for white belts and blue belts to get better. Big shout out to Coach Oliver for being so helpful. Professor Tom for being hilarious and a great instructor. Professor Alex really showing his dedication and love for Jiu Jitsu. Coach Jake with his huge smile and big energy. I love this place and I cannot recommend enough that you come take a class and/or bring your children. The other people who I train with are always open to conversation and very friendly. I have had no issues making friends here.

Wanted to update this review after a few months of training and say that I love Gracie Barra Riverside. I still give it five stars. Professor Tom, Professor Alex and Coach Jake are all awesome. I feel like I am learning jiu jitsu in a comfortable environment and I am having a lot of fun. I am glad I signed up for classes here and highly recommend it.
