I asked Paul to set up a laptop print server for a twenty-year-old copier/printer I have. The copier/printer would not print directly off my existing desktop because the desktop was too recent. The project was complex but Paul solved all the technical hurdles to make the copier/printer usable.

An unusual power surge demolished my computer and also destroyed both the backup drives I was using. Paul replaced my computer with a better one, configured the new computer with the operating system I preferred, loaded my most commonly-used applications onto the computer, and patiently transferred all my data off the old computer's half-working hard drive onto the new machine - a long and tedious task. In less than forty-eight hours, I had a working computer back in operation.
