I struggled for a long time with the decision to write this review because I want to encourage and support local businesses. But I realized that I owed it to my neighbors to share my experience. As a landlord/owner of long term rentals, we personally had a terrible experience with Fortunato. Without going into too much detail, it seemed that the second we signed a management agreement with them their service went downhill. Our issues included but were certainly not limited to: disregarding detailed information we provided regarding the mechanicals of the property which ultimately created multiple time consuming and costly issues; charging us for multiple repairs that we later discovered were either at best never actually completed, or at worst not completed because their internal team broke something while attempting to do unnecessary work and chose to leave it worse than before they touched it; and lying to us on multiple occasions regarding accounting issues. I'd like to believe that our experience was a fluke, and that all the glowing reviews posted are the more common experience, but I have a hard time believing that's the case. They might be the right management company for you if your only concern is getting some money deposited into your account without having to do any work, but just beware that they may not be looking out for you or your property.

Do not rent from this company. I had the worst experience ever renting a property from them on bunker hill lode rd. Not once did anyone ever meet me they just texted me a code to the door. They didn’t give me any info at all. I ended up calling the manager of the hoa to try and figure out the internet and he told me never to call him again. They then said I have to enter a lottery and pay 600$ for a parking pass. It was a scam. No one checked for parking passes at this place. I gave them a 3900$ deposit and they charged me 550 for a cleaning fee when the place wasn’t clean when I moved in. The batteries for the code on the door ran out one night and I was locked out of the house I was renting. I had to rent a hotel that night and they didn’t do anything about it. It’s the worst property management company there is. It’s a joke. Filled with scam artists. 208 bunker hill lode rd building 22 apartment 8. I rented Sept 2023-24

Slumlords. Kept our entire deposit even though we left the property in perfect condition unpolished leaving and even hired cleaners. Completely unethical. Also the property was full of black mold. They did nothing to maintain the property at all. And yes I am 100% leaving a review for the right company. You should be ashamed of yourself for taking from local health care workers. Avoid at all cost!!!!

Fortunato Properties has managed our long-term rental for almost a year and it has been a great experience. Fortunato properties has been my management company for nearly 10 years and I couldn't be happier. I have been impressed by the professionalism, communication, and hardwork I have witnessed. As a property owner it is very difficult to turn over the reigns and they made the process easy and have done great work. The unit has always been leased with good occupancy rates and rents, and the financial component is prompt and we'll organized. Any repairs or upgrades they handle all the contractor bids and supervise the work. Makes my life easy. Thanks!
