I highly recommend Follow Our Lead! We have seen such a huge improvement in our German Shorthaired Pointer puppy after completing the basic obedience course. Cayla was amazing to work with. I cannot recommend Follow Our Lead enough! My dog, Rusty, is a rescue and had some bad habits (pulling on his leash, running out the door, jumping on people, trying to play too rough with our cat), so we enrolled him in the Board & Train program. After living with his trainer, Emily, for two weeks, he came home noticeably calmer and he actually listens to us. This training has made a world of difference for both Rusty and our family, and we couldn’t be more appreciative.

If you’re reading this you’re probably looking up reviews for dog trainers in the Charleston area and I hope you take this as your sign to book with Follow our Lead. I sent my reactive aussie to them and he came back a gentleman. My neighbor can’t even believe the difference in his behavior!!! They really helped him to build up his confidence and worked with him so he can recall off leash. Now my Aussie can go on walks in parks, play off leash in the river, and live his best life. I can’t recommend them enough!

Our only regret is that we didn’t find Cayla sooner! We gave her a dog that we couldn’t take on a walk or even have other people around. In 10 days, I swear I think she brought us back a different dog. We have been able to bring him into our home 100% of the time and everyone is happy! She kept us updated daily and spent hours at our home making sure we understood his training.

We have truly loved our experience with Follow Our Lead. We are the owners of a sweet Doodle, Oakley and we believe in investing in your animals. When Oakley was about 6 months, I started looking into training and a friend referred us to Cayla. Oakley has become more confident, has more structure, and knows boundaries which now makes it easier on her as well as her family. Not only do we have a very well behaved girl, we also have new friends now too! Follow Our Lead is such a good resource and they truly care about your dog’s wellbeing. I have learned so much about my very own dog, how to be a better owner, and how to set my dog up for success! I would recommend Follow Our Lead to anyone (and I honestly do!). Hands down the best, we’re so grateful!

I opted for a board and train for my year-old treeing hound... It changed both her life and mine. We can finally take her out anywhere with us! The trainers are professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and always available when I need them. It's been almost two years since her board and train and we still return for refresher courses Justin, Cayla, and Emily are simply the best trainers you could ask for!

I absolutely love the classes & Board & Train that they offer! I started with Ace in the AKC STAR Puppy Program classes, then I took Kit, & I felt comfortable & confident to sign both Kit & Ace up for the 2 week Board & Train sessions! That is a huge blessing to know that someone will take care of your babies & also train them to help them be better canine citizens. I really appreciate all the work & help with my Corgis. I will be bringing all of Lone Pine Corgis for training, classes, & all new family members will be enrolled in the Board & Train. They offer wonderful services & constant communication. Exemplary service that is fun for the human & dogs! Thank you!! ❤️🐾

Hands down the best experience I have ever had with someone training my dog! She is so caring and sweet with my dog. I loved working with Cayla so much and trust her fully that I’m going to start having her groom my dogs too !
