My son is about to finish up his pre-K school year at Fletcher Acadnemy and I cannot express how pleased we have been with the staff, facility and curriculum. We originally planned on sending my son to a private school in Athens for pre-k but ultimately decided to stay closer to home due to the fact he had never been away from me, as in daycare etc. and I was frankly a nervous wreck.

As it turned out, all the worrying was for nothing- my son loved the school, his teachers and his classmates from day 1, never cried once when I dropped him off and couldn’t wait to go back the next day.

The principal, Mrs. Brittany, and his teacher, Mrs. Angela in particular went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and safe and the rest of the staff, students and their families couldn’t have been any nicer or more accommodating.

I honestly think they treat the students as well as their own and as a first time parent leaving my child for the first real time, that is invaluable. My only wish is that we could continue there next year for kindergarten but I have peace of mind knowing my son has been well prepared and taught everything he needs to know (academically and socially) to excel in kindergarten next year.

It was absolutely the right choice to send him to pre-K at Fletcher and I would highly recommend the school or daycare to parents in the Commerce area without hesitation!

All 4 of my children went to Fletcher and they were amazing. Jan was really sweet and treated my family well. This is the only daycare center I recommend when asked. They worked with me, because as a single mom it can be rough sometimes, Jan found programs to help financially. The entire staff went above and beyond for us. My oldest will be graduating this year with honors and Fletcher's is where she got her first fundamental stepping Stones!

Absolute best daycare around. After having a horrible experience at another daycare in Commerce, I was so hesitant to switch. It was the best decision I have ever made for my child. She learned so much in a safe and christian environment. The staff were more than staff, they are like family. While out on Thanksgiving break this week, (my daughter is now in PreK at Commerce Primary) I had an issue with finding a babysitter and was able to take her back to Fletcher Academy for the break. Mrs. Jan and her staff are wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone!

From the beginning, Mrs.Jan and her crew have been so welcoming and loving. We brought our daughter in the fall of 2020 when a lot of things were uncertain but Fletcher Academy has been a very positive
uplifting place for my 3 year old! We will keep her there as long as we can! Thank you Fletcher Academy

This is the 1st time our beautifully wonderful daughter, Jaycie Lynn 4 yrs old, has been around several children on a daily basis. She is in Mrs. Amanda and Mrs. Christina's Pre- K class and she LOVES IT!!!! Her socialization skills and her ability to share as well as get along with others has been amazing! Her daddy and I couldn't be more excited and proud of her. Mrs. Jan runs a great program at Fletcher and I should know because my son, who is 19 yrs. old and a graduate of Commerce High School, actually attended Fletcher Academy when he was 4 yrs old.....(sorry Jan for showing the world our age 😉).....Needless to say, they must be doing something right because he attended advanced classes during his school career and she looks to be on the same path already!! She can't wait to go back every day so THANKS TO ALL OF Y'ALL FOR LOVING MY CHILDREN'S MINDS!!!!

They really don't need the star I gave them but that's the only way I can leave my review. My son started going to Fletchers in August 2022.....He absolutely loved going to school everyday. He was in the preschool class with Mrs. Christina. After my own experience with Bright Beginnings of Jefferson...I wasn't going to let my child go to anymore daycare. But upon open house and going through an interview I decided why not give them a shot....although it was a "christian environment". Everything was going great until one day my son came home and told me that he was slapped in the face by a teacher. I was shocked and had him repeat himself which he did and this time he demonstrated what she had done. I immediately call Brittany and she said she would look into it. The next day I ask Brittany had she heard anything from the teacher and she said told me that the teacher denied doing it which I kinda figured she would....I mean although who would confess to doing something like that in knowing that they could be put in jail. Until today I can ask my 3yr old what happened at school and I will still get the same story as he told me that day. I believe my son 100%. I don't trust the teachers there. Yes they are abusive towards the kids I have heard the verbal abuse with my own ears. One teacher even said if your son ever come home and says that someone hit him...just know that it was me. I thought she was just kidding but unfortunately she wasn't. They don't have any cameras located in the facility so anything could happen to your kid and you not know. Don't be fooled like I was with the smiling faces and the gitty conversation..... because it is all plastic(FAKE). I know we all need childcare so that we can work to provide for our families but I think that it is ashame that you can't trust anyone....and I MEANT JUST THAT....... ANYONE around your kids. It is important to talk to your kids and listen to them. I definitely don't recommend this daycare facility.
