not busy, minimal litter, not many people. all the restrooms were closed. rocks were beautiful; however, water was of questionable quality. if it was hot i’d likely not submerge myself in it. plenty of flowers and squirrels.

Very unique geology visible at this park. It would be a good place to splash around in the summer. Unfortunately the restrooms are in disrepair so plan accordingly.

The park was closed but I had to show my husband where I used to take my kids when they were little!!! He’s a cop and as cop as you can get so I could only get him to walk thru the open gate to the fishing pier and back. But I went around the main gate a little ways and took these pics for my kids….grown now with kids and grandkids some of them!!

This is an amazing park! So much to do and so big!! My family loves to walk the grounds during the year and then play in the water in the summer. Bring a lunch and your walking shoes! Lots of big rocks to climb and trails to explore. My 3 yr old loves running up and down the ramps for the dirt bike trail.

Beautiful trails through the park; very serene atmosphere. Dog friendly with plenty of picnic spots around the lake. Beautiful views... and free:) Our dog loves spending the day exploring the woods. I would say it is a hidden gem 10 min away that I just found out about and am now hooked. It is a very relaxing and beautiful bike ride as well.

As a photographer, flat rock park used to be my number one place to go. There are tons of spots that are beautiful to photograph. However, after some new buildings have popped up, it's been an overflow of people in the warmer months. So it makes it harder to have sessions there. But it's a good spot to take your dogs too and socialize with others.
We've also done birthday parties at the friendship hall and those were super fun!!

After lunch, I took a trip to 6106 Warm Springs Road, Columbia, Georgia to visit.Flat Rock Park..I had a nice, peaceful rest.there.as.i walked. around the park as.krinh the falls.from different viewing areas..it's a very nice county run park that might need a little.more.upkeep and.i can see some.work being needed in the future. It's a nice little.trip.by vehicle.around.the park and looks like.a.fun place.for.a picnic.kr.jiat.to.eat some lunch.
