Fantastic two night stay at Firefall ranch! Great beer, fun with mini golf and sā€™mores. Fun with shuffle board and cozy fire places. The cabins were perfectly clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Shout out to Alyssa for excellent service for our breakfast and dinner service at the Tavern. We would definitely stay here next time we come to Yosemite and would recommend it to other friends and family to stay here.

Absolutely fantastic hotel is about a romantic stay in a beautiful natural setting. Canā€™t say enough about how lovely our cabin was, and about how helpful the staff are. Our every whim was satisfied including their willingness to open the store and cafe only for us. Fantastic experience we will remember. Youā€™re about 40 very scenic miles from Yosemite Valley here.

Our recent stay at Fire Fall Ranch near Yosemite left much to be desired. While the cabins are undeniably beautiful and new, the experience fell short in several areas that made it difficult to fully enjoy our stay.

The cabins themselves are well-designed, and the double-sided chimney was a nice touch for cozy evenings. However, a major issue was the lack of proper window coverings. The large windows let in way too much light, especially at night due to neighboring cabinsā€™ outdoor lights, making it hard to get a restful sleep. Itā€™s surprising that such an oversight exists in whatā€™s marketed as a premium lodging experience.

Service was another letdown. The staff seemed generally unhappy and unwelcoming, particularly the hostess at the on-site restaurant/tavern. Her attitude made us feel more like an inconvenience than guests. For a place that charges a premium, youā€™d expect at least a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Location-wise, the ranch is about 75 minutes from Yosemite National Park and far from other notable places of interest in the area. The remote setting would have been more acceptable if there were scenic views or unique activities nearby, but unfortunately, there wasnā€™t much to do unless you were willing to drive long distances.

Overall, the stay didnā€™t feel worth the high price tag. Despite the aesthetic appeal of the cabins, the lack of comfort and subpar service made it hard to recommend Fire Fall Ranch to others. There are better options closer to Yosemite that offer more value for money and a more welcoming experience.

Great family trip to Firefall this week. This new resort has lots of nice touches (sā€™mores, mini golf) to entertain the family. Rooms were comfortable and very private. We brought along our pup, Tucker and he had a great time too. When they say dog friendly they really mean it.

The three bedroom villa was spectacular. The spiral staircase, kitchenette, fireplace and furnishings were top-notch and thoughtfully placed.
Every meal we ate was spectacular. The skirt steak with mashed potatoes was out of this world. Santa brunch was magical and the hayride, including Santa's helper, a bearded dog, was a great touch.
Sitting in the hot tub during the Christmas light show was awe inspired.
Yosemite was closed for the day because of weather, but we didn't care because we came back to the villa tplayed games by the fire and drank hot chocolate.
All in all, it was one of our favorite getaways as a family and pup.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! The cabins are beautifully designed and truly felt like a luxurious treat to come home to each night and wake up to each morning. ||The bed was hands down the coziest Iā€™ve ever slept onā€”I woke up feeling refreshed and energized every day. We were giddy every time we got in bed, just because it was that comfortable! ||It was an incredible experience overall that exceeded expectations. Thereā€™s a ton of activities to do on property, which is nice to have the balance of staying in for a relaxing day or heading to the park for a bit more adventure. ||If I could suggest one thing, it would be to add a gym for guests to enjoy. That said, this was a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway, and Iā€™ll definitely be back. I feel so fortunate to have discovered this gem of a retreat!

Gorgeous resort. The cabins are amazing. 24 hour heated pool/hottubs. Sā€™mores by the fire at night. Mini golf, rock wall, lobby game room and library. Nice gift shop/market. Good food at the Tavern. Wonderful staff! We had an incredible experience! We will return for sure.

Rooms are great. Thoughtfully designed and tastefully decorated.

The location is a bit near the road so youā€™ll hear vehicles on the road pretty constantly (but not from your room - itā€™s well insulated)

Lots of fun activities. Probably better suited for families with kids.

We found the service to be a bit hit and miss. Young staff - some keen to help (front desk). Others more keen to talk to each other (cafe)

It was our first time to Yosemite and the ā€œrecreation planningā€ desk was super helpful making excellent recommendations.

I had ordered a couple of ā€œenhancementsā€ (wine package and romance package). Neither were in the room when we arrived. Even after asking, neither was provided which was disappointing.
