Jessica to the Rescue!
Six families in my neighborhood have used Finest City Dog Training and Jessica came highly recommended. I was having some struggles with my newly adopted 76 lb puppy. Jessica promptly responded to my email with a phone call. She fit me in to her schedule the next day (Sunday) as she recognized I was a bit overwhelmed.

At this first visit she gave me very sound training advice and I decided to sign up for a block of individual lessons. We’ve now graduated to Jessica’s Group classes, which have been great for additional obedience work and socialization in a higher distraction environment. Overall, I’ve found Jessica to be very experienced, very knowledgable and tremendously upbeat! She’s taught/is teaching me how to grow with my new best puppy friend and I’m very very grateful. I would highly recommend Jessica and Finest City DT!

As new, struggling dog owners, we worked with Jessica across 12 sessions to both learn what we were doing wrong as newbie dog parents, and to help our dog conquer the basics--walking, basic commands, and most importantly, proper bathroom habits around the house. Jessica was patient, instructive, and very flexible with our demanding schedules. We've seen tremendous improvement with our dog, and are thankful for all the work and care we received from Jessica and the company.

We've been clients of Finest City Dog Training for 9 months, starting off with private lessons for our 2 pandemic dogs (one rescue, one breeder acquired). We now attend weekly classes with increasingly levels of training/discipline. Jessica - the owner - is always patient, especially with the owners, as training our dogs is probably more about training the owners. Jessica has shown many times her knowledge of dogs, and even characteristics of specific breeds. Jessica has a great sense of humor and we would recommend any dog owner to her classes. For the record, we had another dog trainer prior to Jessica, who could not produce the same results.

We attended all 3 of Jessica's group classes with our puppy. We started level 1 when she was 4 months and finished level 3 when she was just over a year. Jessica was a fabulous instructor. She is very knowledgeable and fun. She gives you all the tools you need to build a healthy and cooperative relationship with your dog. Classes have a wealth of information and set you up for a good week of homework. Yes, there is homework after each class. Jessica teaches you what you need to know to perform training and corrections on your own. Your dog will not magically learn obedience in 6-8 hours over the course of 6-8 weeks. You must put in the work on your own time to successfully train your dog. Jessica's role is to teach you, the owner, how to train your dog and she does that in spades. We also plan to take her Canine Good Citizen course. If we get another dog, we'd go to Jessica, no question.
