We absolutely love our new home at Fickel Farms! Travis, our Sales Counselor; Jordan, the Construction Manager; and Jamie, our Customer Care Associate, have all been extraordinary throughout our entire purchase and move-in process. Travis worked very closely with us, keeping us informed and comfortable, which made the purchase process incredibly smooth. Since moving in, Jordan and Jamie have ensured that everything is functioning perfectly and meeting our expectations. Berthoud is a wonderful town, and we’re thrilled to be a part of this community!

Great location in Berthoud, not sure about the patio door design, though. Facing into your neighbors unit, unless you pay extra for an end unit. Nice though.

Extremely frustrated with Meritage not standing behind their warranty, and cutting corners in construction at every possible opportunity to save a buck or two. Make sure you have your own inspector look over their work at every possible opportunity and push back hard when Meritage states that it is cosmetic or doesnt need to be fixed. Behind the scenes of my home i found all sorts of problems like misaligned junction boxes, unsealed insulation, bad lightswitches, and low quality plumbing fixtures that eventually leak. A neighbor discovered black mold behind her Drywall due to poor plumbing, install installation and had to sue in order for them to make it right. Their warranty is a joke. My foundation was crumbling, and they claimed it was cosmetic. They will do anything in their power to not let you use the warranty that they promote so hard. Buyer beware, they will make many promises but youll be up a creek without a paddle when something goes wrong
