I go here 2x a week for groups. I love the staff and the atmosphere. They really can and do meet most of your needs. If you ask and make an appointment you can get hygiene, they do std testing, they have snacks for most groups. I told them I just got an apartment and one of the ladies bought me a comforter set, an air mattress, and a pillow set.

Empowerment has truly been a blessing for me! They helped me in SO MANY WAYS. They got me off the streets in less than a year, I have my own apartment in cap hill. The landlord is great there building is clean, secured, there's cameras and they don't slack on making sure there tenants needs are taking care of in every possible way. I'm very proud to say that empowerment has saved my life there amazing people and I recommend it to any one who's in need of help..

This place is nice if you live in a shelter, or already have some type of housing. But if you are truly homeless, living on the streets, there is no help for you. If you are trying to not relapse, have a mental condition, on probation, recovering drug addict, they don't care. They just want you to attend their classes so they can continue to get big grant money to pad their pockets. Like most places in Denver that advertise help it's just for money and show. I'm giving 2 stars because the people are kind.
