I received little to no help with my issues. This was a complete waste of my time. I would not refer Eliot and Associates to anyone. The VA referred me. I ended my sessions and cancelled the use of their services.

Aleisha has done so much for me. The EMDR treatment she has provided for me has been truly life changing. She is so patient and kind. The therapy she provides is worth its weight in gold times 10. I am a domestic violence survivor and I would recommend her to anyone with any mental and/or physical trauma.

This place is very inviting. I have never felt like I didn’t belong. The staff at the front is always there to give me a warm welcome. All the great counselors, even those who aren’t mine, always tell me hello and ask me how I’m doing. I have been going to Carrie for a while now, and she is such a great person. Saying she is incredible is an understatement. She knows what she’s doing, and you can tell. Not only is she a great counselor she’s also a great person. Carrie is the reason I want to be a mental health therapist. She has inspired me in many more ways than one. I love this place and everyone in it!!

I am a veteran who has had several therapists which caused me to put up a wall, I didn’t want a black therapist(my own issues) but when I met MRS. Comfort she was able to break down my wall by just being my sister, she gave me the tools I needed to get past my feelings of worthlessness in the first session, now I have daily affirmations that she gave me. She is not only an educated woman but also a woman of God. Things are really looking up for me and my family. Thank You so much.

I have been a patient of Elliot and Associates for 2.5 years. Mrs. Carrie Player Sexton is my counselor. She truly cares about my son and I. She has been seeing him for 1.5 years. She has truly been a blessing to us. She cares about our well being and goes above and beyond to ensure that we are mentally healthy and safe. Our veterans group is awesome and we are like and expended family supporting one another. She is the reason for this with her style and technique

My daughter has been seeing Mrs. Carrie Sexton since 2016 and I don't have the words to say how much she has helped us. She is one of the BEST counselors I've known. My daughter has a lot more coping skills now than ever, our relationship has gotten so much better. I can't thank her enough she's like family. I had a crisis recently and I was able to call her and she's been there by my side every step of the way. We need more people in this profession like her. Very professional, caring group of counselors— my family has been apart of counseling at Elliot and associates since 2016. When my family needed help to adjust and get through a certain situation, I was blessed to find Elliot and Associates! We have continued since then because Miss Aleshia Elliot has helped my 8 year old granddaughter with the development of coping skills, as well as given her a safe, loving , and confidential environment to share her concerns, life issues, and joys, which has fostered my granddaughter’s growth and confidence in her own abilities. My granddaughter loves and trust miss Elliot and enjoys coming to her appointments. Also, My daughter and myself have seen her. It has been our experience that she does everything professionally possible to help and maintain caring professional relationships with her patients and make recommendations. Also, Myself and my teenage granddaughter have both seen Miss Carrie Sexton. She gave the same level of professionalism and care! I love the relaxed environment, the friendliness of both, the counselors and the office staff! Carrie Player-Sexton has been my PTSD counselor for about two years. She and the entire staff at Elliot & Associates Counseling are professional, personable and caring.
