I've been in therapy for over 14 years and am a HUGE proponent of self-discovery and reflection. I didn't start seeing Ed regularly until 2013 when I began marriage counseling. Amazingly he almost saved our marriage, but after more thought and consideration I determined it wasn't my best future. Ed helped make the transition from divorce much less scary. With his guidance through that process I realized that I had 'stalled' with my individual therapist. Ed was helping me uncover things that I hadn't managed to in the previous 9 years of individual therapy. He accomplished it within a matter of a few months.

I've recommended Ed to many of my friends who are now regular clients. When I began dating again and moving through difficult relationships, he provided me a strong compass to maneuver through the emotions and fear. I give Ed credit for helping me become comfortable enough to remarry. He provided pre-marital counseling that was so helpful that we both continue to see him even as 'newlyweds'. I truly had no idea what real intimacy was until he worked with us to deepen an emotional bond and take the fear factor away from communicating about EVERYTHING.

I am a better person and have worked through so many problems with Ed including bipolar disorder, anxiety attacks, interpersonal relationships with family and friends, among so many others. I continue to see him twice a month just for me and twice a month with my new husband. We look forward to our time with Ed. He is a gentle and very perceptive therapist. Honestly, it is his engineering background that makes him better than his peers. He has an innate ability to analyze and put the pieces together in a structured way. My male friends and husband like him for that reason--they can relate to his approach even though it does deal with emotions. I can't recommend Ed enough! It is important to find the right fit. My friends have consistently thanked me over and over for introducing them to him. I've watched him save marriages, pull friends out of mid-life crisis mode and help their children.
