AWESOME PLACE DESIGNED SPECIALLY TO BE AS A " BIG SCALE SPECIALLY FOR TRUCKS". IT IS RUN BY VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SOOOOO RESPECTFUL OFFICERS AND VERY SKILLFUL MECHANICS". THEIR ONLY JOB IS TO KEEP AN EYE ON ALL THE TRUCKS ? JUST TO MAKE SURE THE SAFETY MEASURES ARE ALWAYS RESPECTED BY THE TRUCK DRIVERS AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL THE LAWS REGARDING DRIVER'S HEALTH, TRUCK AND TRAILER MAINTENANCE AND IS ALWAYS UP TO DATE. CLEAN PLACE, CLEAN RESTROOMS, AWESOME AND SOOOOO RESPECTFUL OFFICERS AND MECHANICS TOO. IF BY ANY CHANCE ANY PROBLEM DETECTED ON THE TRUCK ? OR TRAILER, THE ASSIGNED OFFICER POINT IT OUT TO THE DRIVER SO HE CAN FIX IT ASAP AND FOR NOT BE ANY KIND OF HAZARD DOWN THE ROAD. AS OF MYSELF, I LIKE ALWAYS TO GO IN FOR A CHECK ✔️, THIS WAY I MAKE SURE THAT I DID MY PRE-TRIP INSPECTION PERFECTLY WELL AND IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES, I CONSIDER IT AS A CHALLENGE FOR ME TO BE MORE ATTENTIVE ON MY NEXT PRE-TRIP INSPECTION.

Got a level one inspection and had one small violation, put all that aside and I believe the staff both in the inspection bay and the main office were very professional and super friendly and very helpful with information. Definitely a good group of people

It may seem weird me being a truck driver giving a chicken coop a five star but these people with CHP in the Nor Cal division have always treated me fairly and with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. The fact I consistently pull ZERO deficiency inspections from the one at Cottonwood and now this one have nothing to do with it!

I had an officer up at Dunsmuir place his spotlight on my chains last year when my flashlight gave out so it isn’t just all friendly chats at the weigh station, these folks DESERVE to be recognized for being some of the nicest and most helpful law officers you will come across.

Always get stopped for inspection here but other than that people are cool officer koop is respectful and polite as well reasonable today the world needs more officers like him

outstanding service don't know who the CHP officer was that came out in the winter storm on 2/23/2023 exit 728 to dig out by Driver truck and trailer to get him off the road and on to side -safe place. Thank you to that CHP officer that came to the rescue. What a wonderful act of kindness and courage. On the same day for this driver - running out of hours stop at the Mount Shasta scales and the officer there helped by letting him shut down at the facility. We are truly blessed to have meet
