It brings me an immense amount of pain and sadness to have come to the conclusion that writing this review is necessary in order to help a family in desperate need of answers. I was forced to face the reality that Dr. Andrea Bishop- Marbury PhD that practices out of two locations- Newbridge NW Psychology associates in Cartersville and Conyers GA has shown to be the most incompetent, neglectful and apathetic medical “professional” I have ever encountered in my life. The only achievement my son with special needs and I have gotten out of our appointments to her was wasted time and energy in hopes that we’ve found the right Psychologist, when in fact she failed my son.
Nothing was accomplished due to her inability to meet school deadlines, send referrals to other institutions like she said she would, and delays in seeking psychological help because we have to now start over with another PhD that’s not able to retain notes from her regarding my son.
I found it to be blatant disrespectful and cruel to speak with me, a concerned parent, and lie about faxing off documents when that was never done. I find it to be inconsistent and inconsiderate to suggest a referral be made on behalf of my son, but never execute the plan of action to assure he received the care that he needed from higher institutions for evaluation and treatment purposes. It’s been an extremely long road of frustration and embarrassment, doing everything that I possibly could on my part without the supportive help of someone that I thought to be trusted.
If you are considering this unattached, always tardy or a never show to her appointments, unhinged, inept and extremely unprofessional inhumane being (because she isn’t worthy of the title doctor) to help with your medical needs, I suggest you save yourself the disappointment and continue to search elsewhere.
