Both my older kids have done lessons here and enjoyed the summer camps they offer. It's so great that it isn't just riding lessons, but full on horsemanship lessons. They get to learn how to take care of the horses, along with learning how to ride.

Great place for a nice and easy trail ride! The trail was in a nice section of woods across from the stable. Great horses and a great experience. Definitely give them a call to schedule a trail ride!

My daughter (age 7) started private lessons with Door County Horsemanship two months ago. Prior to starting lessons, she had only ridden a horse in a very controlled manner...AKA riding on a horse that was being lead. Hana's kindhearted nature was evident and my daughter didn't hesitate one bit the entire lesson and was comfortable from the get go.

Hana's easy going manner and direct concern for safety of her students and horses definitely stands out. We have had a very warm summer with high temps/humidity and Hana was up front and decisive when determining how she wanted to approach her lessons. Ground work and simply put being able to take care of a horse is equally important to getting into the saddle. Additionally, Hana is very reasonably priced, easy to communicate with, down to earth, professional and I am happy to recommend her to anyone.

Personally, myself and my husband do not have any experience in what goes into caring for a horse. By having my daughter start lessons with Door County Horsemanship, she is growing her knowledge and I am willing to explore the idea of having a horse as long as my daughter knows how to care for it. I am confident she is gaining the experience and knowledge she needs to one day have her own horse. Hana is helping my daughter's dream come true!

Had the BEST experience at Door County Horsemanship while on a family vacation this weekend. Was looking for a horse riding experience and completely lucked out when we found Hana. My daughters (3 & 5) were able to interact with the horses (brushing, saddling, etc), learn about their care and of course have the opportunity to ride as well. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was- if you are in the area, this is not to be missed. Thank you Door County Horsemanship for such a wonderful afternoon!!

Last year I signed my older daughter (6 at the time) up for her first riding lesson with Hana during a mini camp she held. The lesson was with two other girls her age with no riding experience. Hana was fantastic with the kids and her horses are so calm and well trained, it was a great experience leaving my daughter wanting more!

When lessons opened back up after the COVID “lockdown”, I signed my 5 year old daughter up as well. She was a little more hesitant once she got up in the saddle, but Hana calmly worked with her through her uneasiness and before long, she took the reins!

Overall, Hana is quick to answer messages, easy to talk to, patient with everyone (really great with small kids!), knowledgeable in what she’s offering and very reasonably priced. I honestly have no other facility to compare to, but both of my kids cannot wait for their next lesson as soon as they leave there.
