I took a public speaking class with Don and felt it was useful for me. He does a good job of creating a sense of community within the class, and gave some good advice that I hadn't heard before. Everyone gave a practice speech in front of the class at least once per week and we also played some short games that both were fun and served as good speaking practice

Don is an excellent instructor (and an incredibly funny guy)! I took a Sketch Comedy writing course with Don recently. In every class we had the opportunity to review each other's sketches and ideas, and give each other feedback. Don always had great ideas to improve a sketch and make it funnier, and I was always amazed by his continued creativity. There was also a bit of lecture involved, as we learned all about the different styles of sketch writing, viewed examples, and talked through the necessary elements. I definitely learned a lot from the class and had a lot of fun!
