I stopped here today (5/13/23) to let my Bichon poodle stretch her legs and go potty. It was beautiful. A nice breeze was blowing, snowy peaks in the distance, grass was green, the small trees provided shade, it felt safe, there was water, what more could I ask for? My dog and I were happy. Recommended dog park, we will be back!

It is a beautiful dog park. However, my experience demonstrated that most people with dogs have not educated themselves about dog behavior and don’t pay attention to their dogs, which then makes it unsafe. When we entered within a few minutes four dogs started ganging up on my dog, she was making it clear to back off and none of the dogs respected her. The owners did nothing to manage their dogs inappropriate behaviors . They’re domesticated animals not wild animals. However, watching these mens behavior, all are disrespectful animals and that’s why your dogs are disrespectful animals. And you really ruin a dog park experience.

Absolutely beautiful spot. The dog park was closed for maintenance until October, but we still had a nice time waking around the grass.

Charlie and I find that its better for us to go between 230 and 430 am. As charlie is a bit aggressive when it come to other animals, so he enjoys the tennis balls left behind and the tall fence that he can't jump, he gets to run free and relax. I really appreciate that I can let him run around like a normal dog instead of the usual.

Just moved here from Utah. The small dog side is to small. The 2 trees in it are placed badly so after 1pm full sun no shade. 1 concrete bench. Why? I've been to dog parks in many states and I expect better. I don't understand the idiots that feel rules don't apply to them. With the leash rules. I walk my small dog mostly because at 5pm the 20 small dogs in 1 area is to much. But you have 80% of the people walking their dogs I the parking lot with no leash!!!!! Scares me and my dog. Why are you better then us!!?

Great little dog park for everyone who lives in Yucca Valley, specifically Sky Harbor neighborhood. The park offers two areas for dogs to play in one for dogs 25 lbs and below and the second area for bigger dogs. Park policy is that you clean up after you dog and no dogs young then four months before all their shots and vaccinations are completed.
