The range is well organized and it is definitely safe. But leave out the fact whenever I go was this is fourth time. I'm nowhere near a professional shooter or gun expert but I have shot a lot. It is very hard to not do something wrong there it seems like some of the people that work there look for something to scold you for or however you want to word it. There's usually several good people maybe I just get the area with The Grouchy ones and I mean grouchy and ornery. The last time there there was a gentleman there that worked with my adult daughters showing them their stance and everything we did nothing wrong that day. The other days that I have been not only myself but people around me are getting scolded for something like we're children with a tone. Today during a ceasefire I had four handguns I picked them up during a ceasefire slides were open had them on the the shelf behind the tables one of them in my hand in process of putting back in the bag the other three would have been in the bag within one minute. The old guy came up with a major tone in his voice back on the table until after the ceasefire he grabbed two I grabbed two as I turned around to put them on the shooting table he stepped in front of me and kind of got a little bit crazy and yelled at me for pointing guns at him that would have been in the bag and I would have been gone and he would not have been stepping in front of me. So maybe I'm just not the right person for that place so we won't know because I am done. One last thing this is being petty they take credit cards but they forget to tell you there's a fee it's only $1 but usually people tell you when there's a fee that's being a little petty I guess but the few people that work there make the rest of them look bad and keep people like me from coming back so if you get one of the ones that are normal and calm and not look like they're trying to find something wrong it is a great place. And like I said definitely will maintain and definitely safe

Just follow the rules and you will be glad you chose Dillman. They are well equipped and are a great group of people that manage a safe shooting range.

Going for the first time, and took my kids with me, the staff was great, very helpful, and polite. Sometimes dealing with newbies, impatience and getting irritated is to be expected, but was pleasantly surprised. Even the other shooters were great, letting my kids and me shoot the guns they had brought. Very safety orientated, definitely recommend this place.

Make sure you bring good ear/hearing protection. It can be rather noisy.

It was a tough call between a 4 and 5 star rating here. It's a great range, but the staff are pretty arrogant about enforcing their 23 billion rules. I don't mind the rules, but I do mind the attitude they're presented with. I've been shooting on and off ranges my whole life and don't appreciate being treated like a rank amateur who isn't sure which end of the gun the bullet comes out of.
