My wife and I just completed our open water with DSD and I can't say enough good things about them. Wade, Frances, and Brian are all fantastic instructors who were professional, knowledgable, safe, and kind. Since we did our work in November, we met up at the shop in advance to pick up the equipment and then went to Panama City for the weekend for pool and open water work. The course consisted of pool work for about 3-4 hours on Friday, three open water certification dives on Saturday at Morrison Springs (beautiful and really fun), and then the final open water cert dive on Sunday morning in the Gulf at a shipwreck reef. After that, we did one more fun dive once we had completed all of our certification requirements.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you're looking for a fun, affordable, approachable shop, look no further. Thank you Wade, Frances, and Brian.

Great experience every time I go. It's a small one-man operation so the hours vary and if they're on a dive trip, it could be days with no one there.
That being said, Wade is one of the most accommodating and helpful people I've ever met.
I'm happy to call this "my" dive shop.

It’s a one man operation. The owner has a fulltime job outside of owning this shop. Understandably, he may not always be there but Will respond if you contact him via cellphone or email! He provides excellent service. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my diving ventures!

Great dive shop near Atlanta. The owner Wade is quite the character and very easy too get along with. They offer training for all levels of certification as well as organizing group trips both to Florida and internationally.

I couldn’t recommend Deep South Divers more to someone interested in learning to scuba dive. Everyone was so friendly and made the experience much more enjoyable. My dive instructor taught me all the necessary skills in a very professional manner and helped me to feel extremely comfortable diving. Easily a 10/10 experience. This is the place to go!

I got my PADI training here and you will not find a better shop or staff anywhere. There attention to small details are what set them apart form larger shops and in this environment that is a good thing!
