I had a wonderful experience. The empathy, professionalism and personal care literally saved my life. I had a wonderful opportunity to spend six months at cycles of change; not only did it change my life but it also provided a platform on which to live an
amazing life in recovery. The counselors, staff and management were attentive to my needs at all times. The professionalism was remarkable. On a sidenote the El Camino house was a warm, inviting location to practice and live recovery. The food was wonderful and my room excellent. I recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation. I Especially offer gratitude to Tamisha, Tiffany, Kristy and Georgie.

Cycles of Change is such an amazing place. All of the staff, especially the CEO, Joe Hunter, is amazing, they go above and beyond for their clients. The Family Program is remarkable and it provides the family's with the tools to learn how to recover themselves from their enabling an codependent behaviors. I would definitely send a loved one here. Thank you Cycles of Change for being one of the few places that provide a safe and ethical environment where addicts and alcoholics can come and do the work they need to do.

I was lost, afraid, and drunk all the time. I needed help. My husband and I contacted Cycles of Change Recovery and felt immediately relieved that there was a place for me. I have hope today that the family I damaged greatly with my behaviors can be healed. HOPE, something I didn't feel anymore before coming to COC.

I went through the in-patient treatment for 21 days. I was going through intense withdrawals and there was always someone I could go to, clients or staff. For the first time in a long time I felt "a part of", "welcome", like I "fit right in". All of my medications were handled privately and discretely. I was never judged or shamed. They really understood me, all of me.

After residential, I went to a gorgeous transitional living home. This is a very spiritual and serene place to come home to after intensive outpatient treatment. IOP & Residential treatment facilities offer incredible counselors who discuss, teach, and demonstrate how to live a sober life. While there is plenty to do here, my main focus is on my treatment and my recovery. This is finally time to take care of me, with help of course. I have learned that, even though I felt it, I am NEVER alone.

I am grateful to have found a program designed for the healing of my mind, my body, and my spirit. This is a true paradise for me. I am learning how to live a sober life today thanks to God (who was out of my life for a long time), Joseph & Miki Hunter (owners), the counselors: Tiffani, Rudy, Tamisha, David, Meagan, Jerritt, Jaime, Nick, "T", Ronnie, Georgie, Vanessa, Priscilla, and the doctors who helped me. I have probably left out somebody.....certainly not on purpose.

To these people I owe a great debt for they played a huge part in saving my life. They never gave up on me as I fought and fought............until willingness was finally mine.

If you are in need of help, please contact Joseph Hunter. It will be the best decision of your life! Here's to many more "one day at a time"!!

I have had such a fantastic experience finding myself and entering recovery with amazing staff, counselors, and clients! This has been a great start in my journey of recovery, and sets me up for a great future in sobriety. I highly recommend coming to Cycles of Change. This was my first time in treatment and it has been the most amazing experience. The staff has experience in drug addiction and has strong solid recovery. Tamisha was my councilor through my six months of treatment and I couldn't think of a better example of recovery. She is very energetic and passionate about this program and she makes sure we have a balance with fun recovery and getting down to business in the work. She always told me how it is and helped me grow and learn in all aspects of my life. Even when she wasn't working she would come and check on me and be of service 24/7. I could tell that this is more than a job to her and that she truly does love and care for every single client that comes through. When I left she proceeded to call and check up on me and see how my recovery is going. She has the biggest heart and leads by example through good and bad times we can stay sober one day at a time. I am forever grateful for this rehab and am blessed to have been apart of it.

Cycles of Change offered me a recovery program with a caring and nonjudgmental staff and an amazingly beautiful location in which to heal. After a short time I began to focus less on WHERE I was and take a good look at WHAT I was. Through the guidance of the staff here I was able to find a clear path to the person I wanted to be. COC not only gave me another chance at life, but also offered a free family program to every member of my family to help them begin a healing process of their own from the chaos I had wreaked upon them in my addiction. If you are looking for help, guidance and a true understanding of the addiction process and a way out of it, and are willing to listen, learn and take action, then you’ve found the right place. Make the call! Your future self will thank you.

With sincere gratitude,
Carol S.

Honestly, I'm not sure my son would be alive if it were not for Joe Hunter, his well-rounded staff, and overall approach to recovery. My family has battled with the addiction since high school and this past May we had finally hit "rock bottom" and found ourselves tired and in desperation to fight the addiction. Thankfully we are all in recovery and working our program

From the admissions to the clinical staff, the team at Cycle of Change genuinely cares about the success of their clients and families. Georgi and Mikki in admissions are knowledgeable, caring, and go the extra mile to make sure you know all your options. The CEO Joe Hunter and Staff- Picture a family of loving, caring, and experienced professionals - that’s what makes CoC successful and that’s what Joe Hunter has created, a place knowing that you now have a team of good people vested in your family’s success for the long-term.
Forever grateful!!!
