Really nice guy working the scanner as you go in. Always go to traffic court to get reduced charges. Look up your charges on the Internet to know your rights. Call ahead of time and speak with someone about your case. You might get advice about how to handle it. Met some people who said it was worth the 3 1/2 hour trip (one way) to take care of their case. Covid measures still in place: disposable masks, plexiglass, social distancing. Nice clean new building.

I was stopped by an Crisp county officer and he out right lied on the speed I was traveling. I had my cruise control set to 80 and he stated that I was doing 95. Also he was coming down the opposite direction of the highway he nearly hit me when he attempted to enter the highway from the middle opening of the two highways. The speed limit was 70 I admit but I wasn't going 95 he followed me for a minute or two before pulling me over. Most likely he noticed I was from out of town and probably wouldn't come to court. I wanted to dispute his saying but in this day I felt uncomfortable with him especially since he asked me to get out the car for no reason at all. Being a black woman with two kids and my elderly mother I just didn't want the hassle or end up on news as another fallen black person shot by a white cop

I drove early in the morning from Atlanta regarding the traffic ticket at 9am. Granted it was raining, my GPS took me the wrong way and I had to wait 8 minutes for a train to pass, but I arrived at 9:10 am. The lady (young woman with long black hair)who told us to check in, after just letting us sit there for few minutes, was rude and said we should've been here at 9am. She then turned two guys away after me. About 5 minutes later another lady (nice older blonde lady) allowed people to check in while the rude lady was watching. Although it was kind, it was still unfair to the others who were turned away. While sitting in the waiting area she continues to say rude remarks about people being late. Very unprofessional.

Was going 85 on the highway and get pulled over saying I went 101, I'm glad you guys like bumping charges up just to keep your rinky dink little "town" still going. There's a reason no one ever stops there, you guys are moochers and mainly pull over people that are black or from far away and traveling. Everyone in the court aside from the people determining our fates, were black. Also, gl trying to get people back if they didn't pay a fine, God knows you don't have the money to actually go after them, because you guys REALLY NEED money. Also, get a restaurant or something that has food in your town, if you guys even can.
And as a side note, tell your highway brigade, not everyone has a gun in their car, you don't need to be trigger happy with me just because I'm black and from out of town.

This was the most unprofessional and Ill mannered group of people that one could ever come across. From the probate judge to the public defender who used derogatory language with no respect to the court of law. I have never been so appalled and degraded in my life and I realize that the power and control they have is detrimental to the State of Georgia. It’s a SHAME and I could only imagine if I were a resident. Thank God I’m not! Misuse of power should be against the law and I’m sure it is.

These people are all very disrespectful. Everyone in the whole courthouse is disrespectful. The cops that are there are all ladies and are on major power kicks . Even the public pretender is disrespectful . Watch out for large Marge if she’s on duty you will know who I’m talking about . Be careful because they are just looking for any reason to arrest you on contempt. Town leaders need to come together and do something

What a terrible town. The sheriff had 8 officers on the interstate in a 2 mile stretch. It is obvious this place is just a revenue engine. Hopefully the county leaders understand this deters tourism and businesses from wanting to do anything in the town.

The ladies in this office lack professional maturity and common courtesy. I called to get information on a ticket, they were rude, wasn’t interested in my questions, kept saying you can just pay the ticket and even hung up on me. Someone really needs to do some hard core training or fire the entire staff
